Chinese cuisine is and will always be one of my favorites. It’s neck and neck with Filipino and Japanese cuisines, respectively. Chinese dishes has been a great part of me growing up in Chinatown. I had lots of it from different restaurants, eateries, food stalls. It just tastes like home. Now, living 30 minutes to an hour away from all the tasty stuff, I make sure that my family and I still get to EATSperience good Chinese food every once in a while through trips downtown or even just eating at Cantonese restaurants. Boracay is considered one of the many beautiful beaches here in the Philippines, by locals and foreigners alike. Peak season or not, Boracay is frequently visited by people looking for a beach that has perfect white sand and a lot of happenings. Recently, a shock came to many when the government decided to close the island down for six (6) months. And this closure has affected not just booked flights and hotels, but especially the locals. Employees and business people alike, a lot has suffered and are still suffering from the island’s rehabilitation. Thank God for the people behind Hole in the Wall, some of the island’s food outlets were given a chance to at least earn for a few months while waiting to be back on the island. It’s probably been a couple of months already since The Grid Food Market has opened in the new wing of the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati. It has easily become one of our favorite dining spots around town, well, because it’s new and also, the food selection has been great so far even though there are still some stalls that are yet to open.
