Burgers, burgers, and more burgers! That’s our dream for Manila’s burger game, to have more and more burger joints that will serve delicious burgers so that everyone will get to appreciate it more. In a rice-loving nation like ours, it’s truly challenging for burger joints to flourish. Why you may ask? Hmmm… Well, burgers are usually thought of as snacks or it’s not as filling as stuffing oneself with a cup or two of rice, with whatever meat and/or vegetable dish with it. Burgers can also be pretty pricey. It can be the same price as a rice meal or even more expensive than one. Maybe it’s also something that’s hard to share or split because it’s already “too small” to share. There are so many things going up against Manila having a little “Burger Culture” of its own, but there are still some great ones who have sort of withstood the test of time. There’s always a first time for everything and this EATSperience of ours was another first. First time to dine at Man Ho in Manila Marriott Hotel. Man Ho is the Chinese / Cantonese Restaurant of Manila Marriott Hotel. Therefore, this EATSperience is about delicious and familiar Chinese dishes that are truly close to our tummies. We were really excited about dining at Man Ho because we’ve heard a lot about how good the food is, how lovely the place is, and how awesome the service is. We’ll never know until we try, right? [BGC EATS] All Day Japanese at Motto Motto
Japanese food, again! Nope, we’re not complaining. We’re actually really happy to have another one in town because it just means that there’s a lot more to choose from. Over the years, we’ve grown to be huge fans of Japanese food. Sashimi, sushi, udon, ramen, teppanyaki, tempura, and many more. It’s one of the many cuisines that we’d really really love to have over and over again. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about one of the newest Japanese restaurants in BGC which is under the big hotel and restaurant umbrella of the Raintree Hospitality Group. Raintree is known for Providore, Chelsea Kitchen, Chotto Matte, Friends & Family, just to name a few. They even have Coast, Blue Marina, and Cha Cha’s in Boracay.
