Merce’s Chow – Taft’s Favorite Fried Chicken is BACK!
This is probably the best news of 2020 for people who were in Taft, Manila almost 20 years ago. Merce’s Chow – Taft’s Favorite Fried Chicken is BACK! Yes, that’s right! Merce’s Chow, after being away for 12 years, is now back and yes, their signature Butter Chicken with Lemon Sauce, too! Awesome, right?! To those of you who are not familiar with them, Merce’s Chow was a small family-run eatery that operated from 2003 to 2008, located then in Leon Guinto, Taft Avenue, Manila. They were well known to serve quality Chinese food at an affordable price. Their restaurant was popular with residents nearby and students from De La Salle, St. Benilde, and St. Scholastica’s.
