[New World Makati] Chinese Feast at Jasmine

Chinese cuisine is and will always be one of my favorites. It’s neck and neck with Filipino and Japanese cuisines, respectively. Chinese dishes has been a great part of me growing up in Chinatown. I had lots of it from different restaurants, eateries, food stalls. It just tastes like home. Now, living 30 minutes to an hour away from all the tasty stuff, I make sure that my family and I still get to EATSperience good Chinese food every once in a while through trips downtown or even just eating at Cantonese restaurants. In this edition of EATSplorations, I, Mr. Eats, will be sharing my first-ever EATSperience at one of New World Makati’s in-house restaurants that specializes in authentic Cantonese dishes. Keep on reading to find out what I EATSperienced during a Chinese Feast at Jasmine in New World Makati! Enjoy! Continue reading…

[BGC EATS] Friends & Family – Bonifacio High Street Central

Recently, I, Mr. Eats, was able to try out one of Bonifacio Global City’s newest restaurants, Friends & Family. Some of you might have already tried it out, but well yes, it was my first time. However, even though it was my very first time to dine there, all the flavors from the various dishes that I tried reminded me about so many good memories. It was truly a one of a kind nostalgic EATSperience. I think a lot of you will be able to relate with me on this. You know, that Pinoy barbecue stall from years ago that made you want to go out of the house each and every afternoon or that Pinoy-style spaghetti that you would always ask your mom to make for birthdays and special occasions. There are still days when I would crave for those because those dishes bring a lot of great memories from several years back. That is why, in this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing about my very memorable EATSperience at Friends & Family in Bonifacio High Street Central. Take a trip down food memory lane with me, let’s go! Continue reading…

Fish, squid, scallops, mussels, oysters, crabs and prawns, just to name some of our seafood faves. Grilled, stir-fried, baked, deep-fried or raw, we don’t mind having it any way. In our recent EATSperience, we had an interesting diet—a seafood diet (Pun intended. Haha!). Kidding aside, we had a seafood feast at one of the longest crab house restaurants in the Metro. Crabs, oysters and a whole lot more! Join us as we share about Red Crab Alimango House in Greenbelt. Enjoy! Continue reading…

Fat Daddy’s Smokehouse – UP Town Center

UP Town Center is not our usual go to mall whenever we go out. As it is really far from where we live. So whenever we visit this place, we make sure that we dine at a restaurant that we do not normally see around the malls or establishments that we are used to. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you our UP Town Center visit a few weeks back. We tried out a restaurant that has a food concept that we have been wanting to try for the longest time. Fried food and smoked meats! Join us as we talk about our Fat Daddy’s Smokehouse- UP Town Center EATSperience! Enjoy! Continue reading…

[Uptown Bonifacio] Italian Feast at Mamma Mia

In December alone, we’ve probably EATSperienced around THREE Italian restaurants here in Metro Manila and that’s from Makati and Taguig alone. One old with new dishes and two newbies, one of which is an international franchise, and the second one is a homegrown concept from an Italian family living here in Manila. What we are trying to say is that Italian cuisine has grown to be a big part of us carb-loving Pinoys. Yes, we love our rice and dish combos but we, Filipinos, have grown to love pizza and pasta throughout the years.Β That’s why we have a great number of both local and international pizza chains all over the country. We also have a number of homegrown Italian food concepts, some of which are still up and running for a number of years now. Well, we can never have so much pizza and pasta. We, ourselves, as EATSplorations are huge fans of anything with noodles, dough, tomato sauce, and cheese. Anything with an Italian influence, bring it on! That’s why in this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you our latest EATSperience in Uptown Bonifacio, an Italian Feast at Mamma Mia. Enjoy! Continue reading…
