[NEW MENU] Canton Road – Shangri-La Fort Manila

Manila – To celebrate the restaurant’s first year anniversary, Canton Road launches new flavors and fare beginning July 12, 2017. A year after its opening, the restaurant introduces several signature dishes sure to entice the palate of its diners. The fare is representative of the various provinces in China: Canton, Fujian, Sichuan and Huaiyang. Ingredients like local yam, crispy chili flakes and bourbon whisky bring a unique twist and flavor to the dishes. “People always want something fresh and new to try. For a restaurant to be successful, it is important that we as chefs listen to what our diners have to say. Weather here in the Philippines has been encouraging me to indulge, every once in a while, on cold and sweet treats. You know—halo-halo, fruit shakes, and milkshakes. The Philippines has become a home for sweet and cold treats because one, it is just extremely hot in here. Two, we, Filipinos, love sweet stuff. Agree? I know you do.
