[Pampanga EATS] 25 Seeds by Chef Sau del Rosario

Earlier this month, I, Mr. Eats, went on a food trip to EATSplore some of the limited edition items for the Choice of the Nation. It was a day of pure eating as I was able to try out FOUR restaurants in one day. The food trip took me as far as Pampanga and it led me to 25 Seeds by Chef Sau del Rosario. 25 Seeds features farm to table creations inspired by many of his adventures in his 25 years of being in the food industry and of course, by his Kapampangan roots. I was really excited to try his food again because of my wonderful EATSperience at Cafe Fleur in 2016. In this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing my thoughts about his famous dishes and also about his mayo-inspired dishes. I sure hope you are hungry because here’s my gut-stuffing EATSperience at 25 Seeds by Chef Sau del Rosario, enjoy! Continue reading…

The Broken Oven at The Gardens, Loyola Grand Villas

Ever since we came back home here in Manila in 2016, one of the things that we looked forward to was meeting new people through our blog. And during the early months of being in Manila, we met a guy who was very new to the food business. Starting of with food deliveries, to having a stall at Industrie, and now having his own place for The Broken Oven. Marco Olives, the home cook behind this amazing food brand has grown a lot in just 2 years time. We felt like we have journeyed with him because the growth of The Broken Oven is almost the same age as that of our little girl. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about this food brand that we have come to love, as we were able to see and feel the passion of Marco Olives for his baby—The Broken Oven at The Gardens, Loyola Grand Villas. Lechon belly, Chicken and Waffles and S’mores Milkshake. Hungry yet? Just naming a few of the many dishes to love about The Broken Oven. Keep reading and find out more! Enjoy!

Alta by Relik – Santolan Town Plaza

Lunch dates are rare for us, as we usually take lunch with our respective classes (as some of you may not know, yes, we were both teachers). So whenever we have to opportunity to go out for lunch, we make sure that we really get to enjoy the time together and of course, the food! A few weeks back, after dealing with our year end clearances at work, we went to a restaurant near our work place. Since we knew that we were having a lunch date, we didn’t eat much for breakfast to prepare our tummies (haha!) Some of you may be familiar with Relik located at BGC, and the restaurant where we went to is managed by the same group. Join us in this edition of EATSplorations, as we share about our Alta by Relik-Santolan Town Plaza EATSperience. Enjoy! Continue reading…

Providore – Home of the Best Fried Chicken and Barbecue in SM Aura

Last month, in one of our many reunions with friends, we were able to try out one of SM Aura’s not-so-hidden gem, Providore. It was such a delightful surprise to us on how good the food was and that we haven’t had the chance to try it before. We were really happy with what we had. Our friends were pretty impressed, too. That’s why we decided to return, just our tiny family this time, to have another crack at the dishes that we loved and to feature it here in our blog. Because you guys deserve to know more about Providore. We don’t know if you have tried Providore before but if you haven’t you are definitely missing out. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about the dishes that made us come back and why we think Providore is the Home of the Best Fried Chicken and Barbecue in SM Aura. Enjoy!
