AirAsia Santan Food Fest – ASEAN Flavors for Everyone

Hello everyone! I, Mr. Eats, just got back from a short but sweet trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—for the first-ever AirAsia Santan Food Fest at AirAsia’s RedQ. Located just outside the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The event showcased the gastronomical delights of Santan hot meals from across AirAsia’s network, including the latest signature dish, Thai Green Curry with Rice. An aromatic chicken curry infused with authentic Thai spices served with fluffy fragrant white rice. Why Santan? Well, Santan, also known as coconut milk, is a popular ingredient and a cooking base used in various Southeast Asian cuisines because of its rich flavor. Join me, as I walk you guys through my EATSperience of the first AirAsia Santan Food Fest – Asean Flavors for Everyone, enjoy! Continue reading…

Lot 77 Bar & Cafe – Pampanga

There’s always a first time for everything! This past Saturday was my first time to EATSperience the food scene in the province of Pampanga in the Philippines’ Central Luzon region. I had to go alone because Mrs. Eats already had some plans that Saturday. Anyways, thanks to a good friend ours, Alexis Deocaris of ForkSpoonManila and some new found friends in Pampanga for the invite. I was able to EATsperience what some restaurants in the province has to offer. I have always wanted to join a culinary adventure in Pampanga. Why? Because it is known as the “Culinary Capital of the Philippines” wherein dishes like Sisig, Morcon, Lengua, Caldereta, Biringyi and many more were made famous. Good and enough reason, right? In this edition of EATSplorations, I will share with you my EATSperience at Lot 77 Bar & Cafe located in Angeles City, Pampanga. It’s a place where Kapampangans usually drink and chill out until the wee hours of the day. Keep reading to find out more about my first Pampanga EATSperience. Here it goes Continue reading…
