Boracay Food Guide: 10 Family-Friendly Restaurants We Tried With Our Family

Whenever we visit Boracay, the beach is always a big part of the experience—but honestly, one of the things we look forward to just as much is the food!

Traveling as a family means we’re always looking for restaurants that offer delicious food, generous servings, and options that both kids and adults can enjoy. And with so many restaurants to choose from in Boracay, deciding where to eat can sometimes be a challenge.

So on one of our Boracay trips, we made it our mission to try different restaurants and dishes that we could enjoy as a family.

From Filipino comfort food and seafood to pasta, grilled meats, breakfast buffets, and kid-friendly favorites, here are 10 family-friendly restaurants in Boracay that we tried and would happily come back to.

1. Sands at Discovery Boracay: Filipino Comfort Food With a View

One of the first things we look for when dining as a family is food that everyone can share—and the Crispy Pata at Sands at Discovery Boracay definitely delivered.

The skin was incredibly crispy, but the meat inside was still juicy and flavorful. It’s the kind of dish that’s perfect for a family meal because everyone can just dig in and share.

And of course, dining in a beautiful resort setting while enjoying delicious Filipino food makes the experience even better.

2. Forno: An Italian Food Favorite for the Family

If your family loves Italian food and steak, Forno is definitely worth adding to your Boracay food itinerary.

Our favorite was the Pomodoro con Gamberi. The risotto was rich and flavorful, topped with delicious grilled prawns that added even more flavor to the dish.

For us, this is the kind of restaurant that works whether you’re looking for a family dinner or a more relaxed date night while enjoying Boracay.

3. Mango Mama: The BEST Mama in Boracay

Out of all the Mama dessert stalls on the island, this is hands down THE BEST DESSERT for our family! The combination of flavors and textures in a bowl is just out of this world DELISH! Definitely a must-try when you are in Boracay!

4. Island Chicken Inasal: Sulit Local Comfort Food

One of our favorite things about traveling is discovering local restaurants that serve delicious food without making you spend too much.

For a more budget-friendly meal, we tried Island Chicken Inasal.

Their Chicken Inasal was juicy and flavorful, but what surprised us was the Kansi. The beef was incredibly tender, and the soup was so comforting—especially after a long day of exploring the island.

If you’re looking for a satisfying Filipino meal in Boracay, this is definitely one to consider.

5. Café Got Soul: A Safe Pick for Picky Eaters

If you’re traveling with kids, you know that sometimes finding a restaurant everyone will enjoy can be a challenge!

That’s why familiar dishes are always a win for us.

At Café Got Soul, the Fish and Chips was a safe pick. It’s crispy, flavorful, and familiar enough for picky eaters while still being enjoyable for the adults.

Sometimes, when you’re traveling with kids, a meal that everyone actually enjoys is already a huge victory!

6. Seawind Resort: Start the Day With a Filipino Breakfast

One of our favorite parts of staying at a resort is enjoying a delicious breakfast before starting the day’s adventures.

The Filipino breakfast buffet at Seawind Resort offers plenty of choices, making it a convenient option for families with different tastes.

Whether you’re craving classic Filipino breakfast favorites or something lighter, buffets are always a great option when you’re traveling with kids because everyone can choose what they want.

And of course, a good breakfast is important before spending the whole day enjoying Boracay!

7. Meze Wrap: A Kebab Platter Made for Sharing

Sometimes, we also like trying something different from the usual Filipino and Western dishes.

At Meze Wrap, we tried their Kebab Platter, which came with different grilled meats and generous servings.

This was a fun option for the family because there’s a variety of flavors and textures to try. It’s also perfect for sharing, which is always a plus when dining with the kids.

8. Dos Mestizos: Gambas for Seafood Lovers

Boracay is an island, so of course, seafood has to be part of our food trip!

At Dos Mestizos, we tried their Gambas, which was flavorful and perfect for sharing as part of a bigger family meal.

For us, one of the best parts of eating as a family is ordering different dishes and letting everyone try a little bit of everything.

9. BunBun: Crispy Shrimp Balls Everyone Can Enjoy

If your family enjoys crispy and flavorful dishes, the Crispy Shrimp Balls at BunBun are worth trying.

They’re fun to eat, easy to share, and a nice alternative to the usual seafood dishes.

This is the kind of dish that can easily disappear from the table—especially when everyone starts reaching for “just one more.”

10. Zugba Grill: Oyster Sisig With a Filipino Twist

One dish that definitely stood out to us was the Oyster Sisig at Zugba Grill.

It takes the familiar flavors of sisig and gives it a unique seafood twist. If you enjoy Filipino food and seafood, this is a fun dish to try during your Boracay food trip.

It’s also perfect for sharing with the family while enjoying a variety of dishes on the table.
