Just over a week ago, I went to Malaysia with friends for the very first time. It was a short 3 days and 2 nights trip that was mostly about Kuala Lumpur’s amazing mix of Malay and Chinese food. In this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing with you about one famous restaurant in the bustling food and shopping district of Bukit Bintang, Restoran Wong Ah Wah in Jalan Alor. Wong Ah Wah, or WAW in short, is a Chinese restaurant that’s famous for their roasted chicken wings among many other tasty dishes. AirAsia Santan Food Fest – ASEAN Flavors for Everyone

Hello everyone! I, Mr. Eats, just got back from a short but sweet trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—for the first-ever AirAsia Santan Food Fest at AirAsia’s RedQ. Located just outside the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The event showcased the gastronomical delights of Santan hot meals from across AirAsia’s network, including the latest signature dish, Thai Green Curry with Rice. An aromatic chicken curry infused with authentic Thai spices served with fluffy fragrant white rice. Why Santan? Well, Santan, also known as coconut milk, is a popular ingredient and a cooking base used in various Southeast Asian cuisines because of its rich flavor.
