Dampa at Home with G Squared Palutuan!

You know, going to Macapagal (Seaside), heading over to the wet market that’s full of super-fresh seafood, and choosing a restaurant that will cook it to your liking. Yup, that Dampa EATSperience that you usually have with family or with a group of friends. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing our Dampa at Home EATSperience with G Squared Palutuan! First of all, it was our friends from the Sini Gang Podcast’s fault. Bay Area Eats at Milagritos – TRYP by Wyndham

The SM Mall of Asia Complex right at the Manila Bay area of Pasay City never runs out of good food choices. It is home to hundreds or even maybe thousands of restaurants that serve Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Mexican, American, Italian, and so on. This edition of EATSplorations is about one of them! It was a rainy Saturday morning when we made our way to one of the hotels in the Mall of Asia complex. We were really hungry, thanks to the traffic jam near our area caused by a number of flooded streets. Good thing, after almost an hour and a half, we finally arrived at TRYP by Wyndham! There we were able to try out some awesome Bay Area Eats at Milagritos – TRYP by Wyndham‘s in-house restaurant. We didn’t really know what to expect when we arrived, but when the food started coming to our table, our gloomy Saturday started to look good. Keep on reading to find out what we tried at Milagritos in TRYP by Wyndham! Continue reading…

Mala Szechuan Chinese Cuisine at Met Live Mall

There’s been a huge storm of Chinese restaurants here in Manila lately. I’m not just talking about our usual dim sum restaurants or Cantonese restaurants that serve the Chinese food that we already love. I’m talking about more different kinds of hotpot and more regional Chinese restaurants that’s more than the usual Sweet and Sour Pork or Yangchow Fried Rice, hehe. Well, this may be because there are a lot more Chinese nationals now here in Manila. It may also be because Filipinos are now more open to embracing other kinds of Chinese dishes. What do you think? Well, this may be good for foodies like us who would want to try out new things. It can also be good for the general food scene that we have here in Manila. Before I move further, this EATSperience of mine (Mr. Eats) will be about a restaurant at a fairly new mall in Pasay City that features really spicy Chinese food for Chinese nationals and locals who love spicy stuff. The restaurant that I will be sharing about is Mala Szechuan Chinese Cuisine at Met Live Mall in Pasay City! If you want to know more about it, please keep on reading especially if spicy food is your thing. Enjoy! Continue reading…
