[EXPLORE] Azalea Residences Baguio

IT IS SO HOT RIGHT NOW! Summer really has arrived here in Manila and it is extremely hot. Good thing though, just over the weekend, we were able to visit the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City! To those of you who don’t know much about Baguio, it is where we, Filipinos, get to enjoy a little bit of a break from all the heat and humidity that’s literally all over our beloved country. Thanks to some places like Baguio, we get to have air-conditioned weather all day long and now that is only around 4-5 hours away from Manila, cold-deprived people can easily visit and enjoy its lovely climate. In this edition of EATSplorations, I, Mr. Eats, will be sharing about our recent EATSperience at one of the best places to stay at in Baguio, Azalea Residences Baguio! Mimi & Bros – Crossroads, BGC

Hello people of BGC! A new restaurant / bar is now officially open to satisfy all your lunch time and after work cravings. Say hello to Mimi & Bros at Crossroads, BGC! Mimi & Bros is one of the newest restaurants in BGC and it is home to some of the Metro’s tastiest Fried Chicken and Ribs paired with their endless list of alcoholic drinks. Before we go any further, why Mimi & Bros? Well, it’s because the restaurant was conceptualized literally by Mimi and her brothers. It was like a gift to Mimi, who is a hardworking CEO at the age of 25, from her brothers. They decided to put up the restaurant for Mimi because she wasn’t able to enjoy house parties (which they really had a lot of) since she was way younger than her siblings. Keep on reading to find out more about Mimi & Bros, enjoy! Continue reading…

Red Crab Alimango House – Greenbelt

Fish, squid, scallops, mussels, oysters, crabs and prawns, just to name some of our seafood faves. Grilled, stir-fried, baked, deep-fried or raw, we don’t mind having it any way. In our recent EATSperience, we had an interesting diet—a seafood diet (Pun intended. Haha!). Kidding aside, we had a seafood feast at one of the longest crab house restaurants in the Metro. Crabs, oysters and a whole lot more! Join us as we share about Red Crab Alimango House in Greenbelt. Enjoy! Continue reading…

Mexican Food and Cocktails at Hacienda – BGC

It’s always interesting to find out the back stories of the different restaurants that we try. As we get to learn how passionate the owners are in putting up something out of their love for a certain cuisine or tradition. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about our recent EATsperience at one of BGC’s newest restaurants. Conceptualized by a husband and wife tandem, having their love for the country Mexico and its food as an inspiration, Hacienda Comida y Cocteles was born. Join us as we talk about Mexican Food and Cocktails at Hacienda in BGC. Enjoy! Continue reading…

Tsuta Ramen – BGC

We have been in love with Japanese food for quite a long time now and we were able to EATSperience a number of really good Japanese restaurants already. We would also catch ourselves craving for something Japanese most of the time. Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura, Kushiyaki, and so much more. Included in our list of Japanese food cravings is a hot bowl of ramen! All three of us, yes, Baby Eats included, love ramen. And we are always up for trying out new ramen places around the metro. Well, maybe it’s not just us who are into looking for new ramen places, most likely a lot of other Filipino diners too. Because Pinoys nowadays are into the ramen craze. In one of our recent EATSperiences, we tried out a Michelin-starred ramen restaurant that we found in Bonifacio High Street. So ramen-lovers and Japanese food enthusiasts (well, if you clicked our link, then you must be one! :D), join us as we share about our Tsuta Ramen-BGC EATSperience! Enjoy! Continue reading…
