We’ve probably dined in numerous buffets or all-you-can-eats even before we started blogging about our EATSperiences. There have been a whole lot of restaurants that do all-you-can-eat and most of the time, we are on the look out for those kinds of restaurants. You may be wondering why we love buffets, right? One major reason, we love to eat so much that it’s really hard to choose which restaurant to go to unless we really have a particular craving that we would like to satisfy. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about one of the hotel buffets that we truly love. This EATSperience is about AG New World Manila Bay’s All You Can Eat at Market Cafe! Some of you might have already dined here years ago when the hotel was still under a different management. We just want to remind you guys that it’s still here. Market Cafe still serves up some of Manila’s tastiest buffet spreads. Keep on reading to be reminded why!
Market Cafe at the AG New World Manila Bay!
If you’ve seen the video, you might already have an idea of how things work and what the “Market” looks like in Market Cafe. Just for a brief background of the restaurant, Market Cafe is the international buffet and all-day dining restaurant of AG New World Manila Bay. It serves lunch and dinner buffet everyday from Monday to Sunday. The restaurant features various live cooking stations like Grilling, Carving, Pasta, Chinese, Japanese, and Dessert. The showcase of freshly made food just seems endless. However, we as patrons have our very own favorites and you’ll find out about it in this EATSperience.
Things We Love About Market Cafe!
Seafood (shrimps, mussels, and alimasag or blue crab) cooked to our own liking! The chilled seafood that you can find in Market Cafe can still be pimped out based on how you like it done. Spicy, buttery, garlicky, you name it, they’ll cook it! In this station alone, you will already be getting your money’s worth.
Pasta Station! Freshly cooked pasta with cream, tomato, or just simply with olive oil just for you. If you’re hungry and in need of an instant fill-you-up dish, you can never go wrong with the pasta station of Market Cafe.
Chinese Station! Dim Sum, Noodles, Roastings, and a whole line up of Cantonese favorites, Market Cafe has it. Our personal favorites out of this station are the Roasted Pork Belly, Charsiu, Dumplings, Stir-fried Dishes, and of course, Fried Rice for our baby!
Japanese food! As one of our favorite cuisines, we always go for the Japanese dishes first whenever we’re in a buffet. We love how everything looks and tastes so fresh every single time. Favorites? Tempura, Sashimi, and Sushi all the way!
Carving station FTW! Our most favorite station in Market Cafe because of one main reason, The Beef! Yes, the Prime Rib at Market Cafe never fails to satisfy the carnivores in us. It’s ALWAYS, ALWAYS perfectly cooked. Just look at the color of the meat. Perfection, right? Because of the meat in this station, we will never get tired of dining in Market Cafe!
And of course, to complete our buffet EATSperience, the dessert station! From the make your own doughnut station, to all the enticing pastries and luscious ice cream treats, everything is just so good! Our favorites? Their cakes and ice cream!
Clearly it wasn’t just us who enjoyed the buffet at Market Cafe, this little girl had a happy tummy too! She had her own fair share of her favorites. Tempura, pasta, and of course, ice cream. Market Cafe is still one of the best hotel buffets we have in Manila. It’s safe to say that its quality has been maintained really well. Same as our previous visits, we left with happy tummies because of all the delicious food that we had. We will surely come back for more! That’s it for this edition of EATSplorations, ’till next time!
