Now, Bun Appetit has been a well-known and sought after food stall because of its amazing rolls, garlic noodles, and many more. Premium Burgers at Beefier in The Grid Food Market

Burgers, burgers, and more burgers! That’s our dream for Manila’s burger game, to have more and more burger joints that will serve delicious burgers so that everyone will get to appreciate it more. In a rice-loving nation like ours, it’s truly challenging for burger joints to flourish. Why you may ask? Hmmm… Well, burgers are usually thought of as snacks or it’s not as filling as stuffing oneself with a cup or two of rice, with whatever meat and/or vegetable dish with it. Burgers can also be pretty pricey. It can be the same price as a rice meal or even more expensive than one. Maybe it’s also something that’s hard to share or split because it’s already “too small” to share. There are so many things going up against Manila having a little “Burger Culture” of its own, but there are still some great ones who have sort of withstood the test of time. It’s probably been a couple of months already since The Grid Food Market has opened in the new wing of the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati. It has easily become one of our favorite dining spots around town, well, because it’s new and also, the food selection has been great so far even though there are still some stalls that are yet to open. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about one particular stall that has a really huge following of seafood-lovers at The Grid! It’s been really famous in Salcedo Market and its owners has finally brought it inside a mall. If you are into seafood and sandwiches, you will surely love this EATSperience of ours! Mighty Quinn’s – Power Plant Mall, Makati

Since its arrival in Manila late 2016, Mighty Quinn’s Philippines has been creating a buzz because of their signature slow smoked barbecue. Because of that, it has been in our eat list for almost two years now. However, its first location has been quite a challenge for us to go to. Thankfully, this year, the owners of Mighy Quinn’s Philippines decided to open its second branch. This time, it’s more accessible to us. We can finally try what they are famous for.
