It has been an EATStaycation filled last few weeks for us. We’ve been staying at different hotels and serviced residences, and of course, we’re loving it! It’s always great to have a relaxing weekend elsewhere and just chill and eat all day. We love love love the Salcedo Village neighborhood because everything is just walking distance and it’s also such a safe area to walk around in. [Holiday Day Inn Makati] Rustic Mornings and Flavors Sunday Brunch

Sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, pancakes, and waffles, just to name a few of our breakfast favorites. We are both huge fans of breakfast food and we tend to eat a lot so that our tummies are fueled up until lunchtime. Hence, the idea of brunch is nothing but genius for us. Being our food-loving selves, we are always in the hunt for something new to try. We have been hearing about this great brunch place in Marikina from our friends ever since we were based abroad. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try it out, even when we came back home a few years back, just because it is far from where we reside. Fortunately, this famous brunch place has an on-going collaboration with Flavors Restaurant at Holiday Inn and Suites in Makati City. Will we let this opportunity pass? Of course not! Mighty Quinn’s – Power Plant Mall, Makati

Since its arrival in Manila late 2016, Mighty Quinn’s Philippines has been creating a buzz because of their signature slow smoked barbecue. Because of that, it has been in our eat list for almost two years now. However, its first location has been quite a challenge for us to go to. Thankfully, this year, the owners of Mighy Quinn’s Philippines decided to open its second branch. This time, it’s more accessible to us. We can finally try what they are famous for. Happy New Year to you all! It’s been a crazy beginning of January for us because we are back at work and it’s also time to prepare for the third and final term of the school year. To our first-time readers, we are full-time teachers and yes, we just share our tasty EATSperiences whenever we have free time. Things got really busy this past Christmas season because of endless reunions and family gatherings. Christmas season here in the Philippines can be really really fun. [Greenbelt] Pizza and Pasta at Bistro Ravioli

Strolling in the mall is a way for us to unwind and relax after a work week, or to simply spend quality time during the weekend. And one of the many malls here in the Metro that we frequently go to is Greenbelt in Ayala Center, Makati. As it is one of the most accessible malls from our place and it also has a great number of quality restaurants. In our recent visit, we finally paid attention to one restaurant that we just normally pass by whenever we walk around, Bistro Ravioli.
