Happy New Year to you all! It’s been a crazy beginning of January for us because we are back at work and it’s also time to prepare for the third and final term of the school year. To our first-time readers, we are full-time teachers and yes, we just share our tasty EATSperiences whenever we have free time. Things got really busy this past Christmas season because of endless reunions and family gatherings. Christmas season here in the Philippines can be really really fun. However, it can also turn us into spendthrifts in a jiffy. So after all the gatherings, reunions and gift-givings, we made sure to go back to spending within a budget. Spending within a budget does not mean compromising the things that we enjoy. One of which, as you all know is eating! So we used the reliable EATIGO app to help us find a good restaurant at a reasonable price. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you our first time at Teddy’s Bigger Burgers and Tiki Bar with EATIGO at Greenbelt, Makati. Enjoy!
First time at Teddy’s Bigger Burgers and Tiki Bar!
Teddy’s Bigger Burgers and Tiki Bar is not that really new for us, as we frequent Greenbelt and we always pass by it. But we haven’t had the chance to try it out. Thanks to eatigo for suggesting this burger place that we have been seeing for quite sometime already. As we made our way inside Teddy’s we were mesmerized by its very Hawaiian shack. From the interior to the displays, everything felt like it was straight out from the movie 50 First Dates. If you are familiar with the movie, you’ll know what we mean.

Deep-fried Spam and Fries served with 3 creamy dips (sriracha aioli, honey mustard, and spiced ketchup)! The dips did a great job in giving the Spam and fries a different flavor in every bite. Spicy, tangy, and zesty. The perfect appetizer in a Hawaiian restaurant because… SPAM!

Haven’t had onion rings in a long time and these babies at Teddy’s were pretty awesome! Super crispy and sweet. It goes perfectly well with the dips of the Spam Fries. Value for money at 98 pesos only!

Looking for a filling rice bowl? Teddy’s has it, too! The Hawaiian Lechon Bowl. Pulled lechon kalua with crispy pork skin, bokchoy, soft-boiled egg over a mountain of rice. Tender teriyaki flavored meat with lots of crispy pork skin. What more can you ask for?!

Love at first bite! The Baecon Me Crazy by Teddy’s has their signature steak burger patty, lettuce, double serving of smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese sandwiched in a potato bun. To add more to this madness, we added one fried egg for some added creaminess from its runny yolk. Cheeseburger, bacon, and egg. Nuff said.
