Since its arrival in Manila late 2016, Mighty Quinn’s Philippines has been creating a buzz because of their signature slow smoked barbecue. Because of that, it has been in our eat list for almost two years now. However, its first location has been quite a challenge for us to go to. Thankfully, this year, the owners of Mighy Quinn’s Philippines decided to open its second branch. This time, it’s more accessible to us. We can finally try what they are famous for. We can finally EATSperience their slow smoked BRISKET! We won’t keep you waiting any longer that’s why here goes our Mighty Quinn’s EATSperience at the Power Plant Mall in Makati. Enjoy!

Mighty Quinn’s – Power Plant Mall, Makati!

Located in the new wing of the Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Makati, Mighty Quinn’s is a cafeteria-style eatery with a very simple ordering process. Just line up, ask their very able staff about their slow smoked meats and tasty sides, and you are off. The price range may be on the higher side of things but we must remember that Mighty Quinn’s is an international franchise and their cooking process indeed takes so much time and effort. So before we comment about the price of their dishes, let’s keep that in mind.

It’s all about SLOW SMOKED BARBECUE!

When dining in Mighty Quinn’s, never ever forget having these two beautiful pieces of slow smoked meats. The Brisket and the Pork Belly will always have special places in your tummies. Believe us. Its juiciness and the tenderness definitely comes from smoking the meat for a long period of time. Around a 24 hours for the brisket alone. After the process of smoking, the meat will be ready to be carved and served to carnivores like us.

It’s time to EATSperience Mighty Quinn’s for the very first time!

Brisket Burger with Sweet Potato Chips
Php 300

Buttery and fluffy brioche buns stuffed with a generous amount of Mighty Quinn’s signature Brisket and all the good stuff. This one’s definitely a sandwich that we would eat over and over again. At 300 pesos, this one’s surely a good steal for all the meatheads out there.

Meat Pairings (Chicken and Burnt Ends)
Php 495

The Smoked Chicken was surprisingly good! It kind of looked dry at first but our first bite proved us wrong as the meat was still moist and of course, super flavorful. The Burnt Ends was overflowing with flavor and character. Imagine having the edges of the brisket bathing in Mighty Quinn’s barbecue sauce! It will make anybody say, “Extra rice, please!”

Meat Pairings (Brisket and Pork Belly)

If there are couple goals, this right here is meat goals! Pairing Brisket and Pork Belly was one of the best food decisions that we have made. We kid you not, as both meat has juiciness and tenderness written all over it. And the original and honey barbecue sauces? Perfect! Both sauces compliments the smoked meats really well. We will definitely have this meat pairing again when we come back!

For carnivores like us, Mighty Quinn’s should definitely be in your go to list when deciding where to eat. Prices may be at the higher side of things but it surely is worth it. We really had a great time dining at Mighty Quinn’s and even our  baby enjoyed the meat and sides to go with her cup of garlic rice. And now that they have a branch that is more accessible to us, we already know where to go when we are in the mood for some good quality meat. That’s it for this edition of EATSplorations, ’till next time!
