In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about a one of a kind breakfast EATSperience from one of the best restaurants in Metro Manila or even in the whole Philippines. It’s been known for its Asian / Southeast Asian menu, chill vibes, and for being some sort of hidden from the crowd. The Ortigas area in Pasig City is a district that we rarely visit. Aside from the fact the we kind of live far from there, the traffic situation in that area can be really challenging too. The Broken Oven at The Gardens, Loyola Grand Villas

Ever since we came back home here in Manila in 2016, one of the things that we looked forward to was meeting new people through our blog. And during the early months of being in Manila, we met a guy who was very new to the food business. Starting of with food deliveries, to having a stall at Industrie, and now having his own place for The Broken Oven. Marco Olives, the home cook behind this amazing food brand has grown a lot in just 2 years time. We felt like we have journeyed with him because the growth of The Broken Oven is almost the same age as that of our little girl. [Holiday Day Inn Makati] Rustic Mornings and Flavors Sunday Brunch

Sausages, bacon, eggs, hash browns, pancakes, and waffles, just to name a few of our breakfast favorites. We are both huge fans of breakfast food and we tend to eat a lot so that our tummies are fueled up until lunchtime. Hence, the idea of brunch is nothing but genius for us. Being our food-loving selves, we are always in the hunt for something new to try. We have been hearing about this great brunch place in Marikina from our friends ever since we were based abroad. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try it out, even when we came back home a few years back, just because it is far from where we reside. Fortunately, this famous brunch place has an on-going collaboration with Flavors Restaurant at Holiday Inn and Suites in Makati City. Will we let this opportunity pass? Of course not!
