Rice & Dough – Sushi and Pizza Bar

Every week, we look forward trying out a new place wherein we can try something new or something familiar. At times, we EATSperience both, something familiar yet new or unique in its own way. We will be sharing with you about our unique yet familiar EATSperience at Rice & Dough. A restaurant that specializes in sushi and pizza located at Venice Grand Canal Mall in McKinley Hill, Bonifacio Global City. Are you a fan of sushi and pizza? To those of you who love sushi and can’t resist pizza at the same time, this restaurant might be “the one” for you. Owned by the same group that owns Torch Restaurant. Rice & Dough is much more focused on two things—sushi and pizza. Here, you can order lots of different sushi rolls that can be familiar and rolls that can be unique to your palette. You may also create your own sushi with their DIY option. Talking about DIY, you can also have your personalized pizza made. Sounds fun, right? Don’t let the snobbish title of this EATSperience make you stop from reading. Before you jump into conclusions, allow us to explain. In this edition of EATSplorations, we tried out an unconventional ramen house called Wrong Ramen in BGC. Wrong Ramen has branded itself as “Manila’s Worst Ramen House.” Yes, we couldn’t believe it too, but it’s as clear as daylight how they described their restaurant in their very own website. Who would even try to attempt dining at a ramen house that’s called Manila’s worst, right? By now, you should have gotten the humor behind the title and maybe you can proceed reading to find out what makes this place unusually special. New EATSperiences keep piling up for us this 2017. So far, we have been to different restaurants in our weekend food-ventures and most, if not all of them were in restaurants that we haven’t tried before. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you our EATSperience at Main Street Restaurant in Kapitolyo, Pasig City. Main Street claims to have “the best” Canadian comfort food in town. Since it’s just our first visit, we won’t be able to confirm the claim just yet. But, what can we do is to see whether this place can give us a great EATSperience or not through their NEW DISHES. Yes, they have 8 new dishes to replace some old items in the menu. We would have wanted to try out their old favorites to have a good taste of what they are really all about. Guess we will just have to visit Main Street again for that. Well, before you starve yourselves, here is our Main Street EATSperience, enjoy! Continue reading…
