Hello everyone! January just ended and it’s now time to welcome the month of February. Yes, just like that, we are already in the second month of the year. We hope all of you had a good January and are all looking forward to an even better February. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you an EATSperience at an eatery in the Katipunan area of Quezon City. This EATSperience is about Halal Kabab Express located just across Ateneo de Manila University at Park 9 Alley. Halal Kabab Express specializes in Middle Eastern cuisine, so expect numerous dishes that feature grilled beef and chicken with Persian or Basmati Rice. We have been looking forward to dining at Halal Kabab Express because we were really starving that day. EAT and EXPLORE – Binondo Food Walk
In just a few days, we will be celebrating the Chinese New Year! It will be the Year of the Fire Rooster. Just in time for this momentous event, the EATSplorations family together with foodie friends went on a Binondo Food Walk to EAT and EXPLORE Manila Chinatown. Yes, you read that right! We walked around the busy streets of Ongpin, Salazar, Benavidez, Soler, Alonzo, and back just to find some of the best food that Binondo has to offer. Chinese New Year Feast at Red Lantern – Solaire
EATSplorations has given us a lot of firsts. It’s been a great 7 months here in Manila so far, as we have gone to different restaurants that we have not tried before. And we also have tried a number of dishes that were new to us. Lots of fun, food, and friendships through out our various EATSperiences. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you all another first. Our first Chinese New Year Feast at Red Lantern in Solaire Resort and Casino in Parañaque City. Just under a week before the year of the rooster—Solaire and Zomato teamed up and prepared a sumptuous dinner for us and some fellow Zomato Foodies to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. BurgerPub – The Grove
We are finally on our third and final stop for Food Hop 2017 food crawl with Zomato and The Grove by Rockwell. First, we shared our filling all-day breakfast EATSperience at Pi Breakfast and Pies. Then, we stuffed ourselves with Indian cuisine at Om Indian Kitchen. Now, we will be sharing our BurgerPub EATSperience. We don’t want to state the obvious but yes, BurgerPub prides itself of thick and tasty burgers paired up with with all sorts of beers from different countries including the Philippines. So if you love burgers and beers, this place is perfect for you! We love burgers so much and are still in search for great-tasting burgers around Manila. Hopefully, this EATSperience will give us another option when it comes to satisfying our random burger cravings.
