How adventurous are we as a couple? Well, not quite. Maybe one of the things that made our hearts beat fast, aside from our wedding and giving birth experience, was when we rode a roller coaster. Haha! But the thought of dining up in the air? It gave us sweaty hands, cold feet and yes, racing heartbeats. Just last week, we were back at one of Manila’s best resort hotel and casino to try out one of their many in-house restaurants. Our last two visits to this hotel was pretty good that’s why we were extremely excited to visit for the third time. Chinese New Year Feast at Red Lantern – Solaire
EATSplorations has given us a lot of firsts. It’s been a great 7 months here in Manila so far, as we have gone to different restaurants that we have not tried before. And we also have tried a number of dishes that were new to us. Lots of fun, food, and friendships through out our various EATSperiences. Yakumi – Saturday Brunch, Solaire Resort and Casino
Last Saturday, we were invited by our friends from Zomato Philippines to EATSperience Yakumi’s Japanese Saturday Brunch at Solaire Resort & Casino. We said yes right away because who says no to an all you can eat Japanese food EATSperience, right? We both love Japanese food and consider it as one of our go to cuisines when we are in need of happy food after a long day. Anyways, let’s talk more about Solaire’s Japanese restaurant. Yakumi prides itself for using the freshest ingredients possible to its diners. One of their chefs told us that they even fly in fresh fish and other produce (around 3 to 4 times a week) to keep the food that they serve at a high level. Yes, their Saturday Brunch might be a tad expensive but that’s what you pay for if you want to eat dishes with the best ingredients, right? Yakumi’s Saturday Brunch is priced at Php 2,688 (plus 10% service charge). Don’t let it discourage you from trying it though because after reading this EATSperience, you might find yourself booking a table for two really soon.
