Chinese Food at DaTang in Venice Grand Canal Mall

Chinese food has always been one of our favorites! It’s one of three cuisines that we always look forward to having whenever we decide to eat out. Because of that, we already have our own go-to Chinese restaurants in mind like North Park, Mann Hann, Luk Yuen, Le Ching, Wai Ying, and so much more. However, there are still so much more here in Metro Manila that we haven’t even tried yet. Buns and Bowls at Don Bao – Kapitolyo, Pasig

Hello everyone! It’s been a hectic month of September for us, as teachers (yes, we are full-time teachers, too!) because of parent-teacher conferences and preparing for our lessons at the same time. Good thing September is about to end and we finally have enough time to squeeze in some blogging of our past EATSperiences over the month of September. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing ourĀ Buns and Bowls at Don Bao in Kapitolyo, PasigĀ EATSperience. Yes, it’s Don for Donburi and Bao for those Chinese fluffy steamed buns. Don Bao specializes in the fusion of Asian and Western flavors and putting them in either a rice bowl or a steamed or fried bun. FINALLY! We are back to share one of our most recent EATSperiences. After having weeks of loads of work to do, we finally found time to sit and write about our Bad Bird EATSperience. Yes Bad Bird, that stall from Hole-in-the-wall famous for its uber tasty umami fried chicken finally has its stand-alone restaurant! Manila’s Worst Ramen House: Wrong Ramen – BGC

Don’t let the snobbish title of this EATSperience make you stop from reading. Before you jump into conclusions, allow us to explain. In this edition of EATSplorations, we tried out an unconventional ramen house called Wrong Ramen in BGC. Wrong Ramen has branded itself as “Manila’s Worst Ramen House.” Yes, we couldn’t believe it too, but it’s as clear as daylight how they described their restaurant in their very own website.
