[The Podium] Lunch Sets at Chibo Okonomiyaki

Chibo Okonomiyaki in Conrad, S Maison is one of the many restaurants that we have tried the past year. It is one of the few that we keep coming back to because of we really enjoy their food. Although we are near S Maison, we wishfully thought of Chibo Okonomiyaki having other branches so that people from other parts of the Metro will be able to try this Osaka-based franchise. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about a new branch of Chibo Okonomiyaki that opened early this year. Right in the middle of the CBD in Ortigas, Chibo Okonomiyaki opened its doors in Podium. Perfect for people who are working around the area and for families, students, and friends who are frequently visiting the mall. Join us as we share the different Lunch Sets at Chibo Okonomiyaki in The Podium. Enjoy!

Buns and Bowls at Don Bao – Kapitolyo, Pasig

Hello everyone! It’s been a hectic month of September for us, as teachers (yes, we are full-time teachers, too!) because of parent-teacher conferences and preparing for our lessons at the same time. Good thing September is about to end and we finally have enough time to squeeze in some blogging of our past EATSperiences over the month of September. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing ourย Buns and Bowls at Don Bao in Kapitolyo, Pasigย EATSperience. Yes, it’s Don for Donburi and Bao for those Chinese fluffy steamed buns. Don Bao specializes in the fusion of Asian and Western flavors and putting them in either a rice bowl or a steamed or fried bun. We were pretty excited to try Don Bao out because we love Asian food and it’s really something that we eat regularly. If you love buns and bowls, keep on reading because Don Bao might be an interesting place to take friends and loved ones in your next food trip! Continue reading…

Bao On The Block – Quezon City

Hello everyone! It has been a long time since the last time we shared an EATSperience in Quezon City. We have been guilty of just going around areas near our place like Makati and Bonifacio Global City. But since our baby’s pediatrician is based in Quezon City and we have to visit her for the monthly checkup, it gives us time to EATSperience restaurants that we rarely go to, and just simply appreciate what that side of Metro Manila has to offer. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you about our latest Quezon City food find, Bao On The Block. It is located in Sgt. Esguerra just across ABS-CBN. This place serves up baos and rice bowls perfect for lunch and after work chow downs. We decided to visit Bao On The Block on a weekday lunch (during our school break) and it was pretty easy to go to. The place is small but it was decorated nicely, for diners who are simply looking for a place to dine at after a long day’s work. Continue reading…
