Buns and Bowls at Don Bao – Kapitolyo, Pasig

Hello everyone! It’s been a hectic month of September for us, as teachers (yes, we are full-time teachers, too!) because of parent-teacher conferences and preparing for our lessons at the same time. Good thing September is about to end and we finally have enough time to squeeze in some blogging of our past EATSperiences over the month of September. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing ourΒ Buns and Bowls at Don Bao in Kapitolyo, PasigΒ EATSperience. Yes, it’s Don for Donburi and Bao for those Chinese fluffy steamed buns. Don Bao specializes in the fusion of Asian and Western flavors and putting them in either a rice bowl or a steamed or fried bun. We were pretty excited to try Don Bao out because we love Asian food and it’s really something that we eat regularly. If you love buns and bowls, keep on reading because Don Bao might be an interesting place to take friends and loved ones in your next food trip! Continue reading…

Bao On The Block – Quezon City

In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you about our latest Quezon City food find, Bao On The Block. It is located in Sgt. Esguerra just across ABS-CBN. This place serves up baos and rice bowls perfect for lunch and after work chow downs. We decided to visit Bao On The Block on a weekday lunch (during our school break) and it was pretty easy to go to. The place is small but it was decorated nicely, for diners who are simply looking for a place to dine at after a long day’s work. Continue reading…
