The Great Eatscape: Yabu, SM Aura

Hello everyone! Here’s the last installment of our recent Great Eatscape EATSperience with ForkSpoonManila and SM Aura. This EATSperience is about Yabu, a restaurant that has become a household name for all sorts of great-tasting katsu and more. We had a great run for the first few restaurants but we were glad that we still had room for what Yabu had in stored for us. This is also our first time to write about Yabu. Surprising, right? We are really excited to share our thoughts about what we EATSperienced and we hope you are excited to read about it too. Before the katsu gets cold, here goes our Yabu EATSperience, Continue reading…

The Great Eatscape: The Great American Burger Joint, SM Aura

Hello everyone! We are back for the second installment of our most recent Great Eatscape EATSperience with ForkSpoonManila and SM Aura Premier. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you about The Great American Burger Joint in SM Aura’s Food on Four. As you all know, we LOVE burgers! That’s why we were extremely excited when we found out that we will get the chance to try this out for the first time. Buttery brioche bun, fresh veggies, melted cheese, and juicy beef patty just to name a few good reasons why no matter how much good food we have tried, the simplest of burgers still excites us. Yes, it still does. Aside from their burgers, their classic diner favorites like nachos, burritos, and sandwiches gave us more reason to feel really excited. The Great American Burger Joint really sounds promising, agree? Continue reading…

The Great Eatscape – Cibo, SM Aura

We had a great time last week because we got some much needed rest and we got to spend more time with our baby. Also, there was another run of The Great Eatscape by ForkSpoonManila and SM Aura Premier. If you read our five-part series about this food-filled event, you know what to expect in this series.Β The day was indeed full of fun, food, laughter and friendship as we got to catch-up with friends and were able to meet new ones. Our first stop was at Cibo. An Italian restaurant by Asia’s Best Female Chef in 2016, Margarita Fores.Β Cibo has been a household name for Italian comfort food in the Metro over the years. It has provided a unique dining EATSperience for diners who adore pizza, pasta and many more Italian favorites. Sounds good so far? Continue reading…

The Great Eatscape: Tamarind, SM Aura

Hello everyone! We are finally back to finish our five part series about SM Aura Premier and ForkSpoonManila’s The Great Eatscape. After 4 fantastic restaurants, we were really really FULL. We were nearing the point of no return when we were on our way to the last restaurant of the day. The last of five Sky Park restaurants that we visited that day was Tamarind: Taste of Thai. As the name says, this place serves Thai food which means lots of different flavors from different Southeast Asian herbs and spices. We momentarily forgot that we were already stuffed when we entered Tamarind. The aroma coming from the freshly cooked dishes in their super busy kitchen was enough to remind us that we can still do it. We can still hang on for the last restaurant of the day. Find out if we made the right decision or not as you keep on reading our Tamarind EATSperience. Continue reading…
