Hello everyone! We are back for the second installment of our most recent Great Eatscape EATSperience with ForkSpoonManila and SM Aura Premier. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you about The Great American Burger Joint in SM Aura’s Food on Four. As you all know, we LOVE burgers! That’s why we were extremely excited when we found out that we will get the chance to try this out for the first time. Buttery brioche bun, fresh veggies, melted cheese, and juicy beef patty just to name a few good reasons why no matter how much good food we have tried, the simplest of burgers still excites us. Yes, it still does. Aside from their burgers, their classic diner favorites like nachos, burritos, and sandwiches gave us more reason to feel really excited. The Great American Burger Joint really sounds promising, agree? If you do, just keep reading to find out how our EATSperience went, enjoy!
After a couple of food crawl EATSperiences, we have learned how to simply control ourselves from eating too much at each stop. It has been more about tasting and appreciating each dish at our own pace. After our first stop, we were ready to eat once again because we still had so much space and of course, it’s burgers we’re talking about.
The Great American Burger Joint EATSperience won’t be complete without the EATS. Here they come! Enjoy!

(corn tortilla chips, chili con carne, watermelon salsa, cilantro, sour cream and cheese)
[Mr. Eats] Cheesy, meaty and crunchy! I was fooled by this one because I thought the salsa was the usual tomato salsa but, I was wrong. This one had watermelon salsa! That’s why it was more on the sweeter side of things with a little bit of a kick. Honestly, I found it strange but it worked.
[Mrs. Eats] A symphony of fresh ingredients. Each ingredient tasted fresh and I really enjoyed devouring into this dish. The nachos were still crunchy even if the toppings sat on top for quite some time. The watermelon salsa gave a refreshing and sweet flavor that complemented the spice from the chili con carne. And the cheese and sour cream gave the creamy texture that it needed.

(1/4 lb, premium beef, chili con carne, rice, lettuce, grilled onions, watermelon salsa and sour cream)
[Mr. Eats] This was like your usual burrito except with ground beef that they use for their burgers. This one was easily good for two because of its size. Flavor-wise it was beefier than the usual burrito because the beef was lightly seasoned. I made sure that every bite had lots of the watermelon salsa for a more unique yet awesome EATSperience.
[Mrs. Eats] This can fill-up a hungry tummy. It had a generous amount of beef, chili con carne and rice. Again, the watermelon salsa made it even better. This is can be shared by two people.

(1/4 lb patty, bacon, American cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, grilled onions, jalapenos on their homemade rye bread)
[Mr. Eats] Another meaty and cheesy delight by The Great American Burger Joint! I loved how thick and juicy the burger patty was and of course, the added smokeyness from the bacon just seals the deal for this amazing creation. Just one tip, eat this one right away so that the rye bread is still crisp and the cheese trifecta is still in perfect eating condition, for that ultimate EATSperience!
[Mrs. Eats] This was one of my favorites among all the dishes that we have tried here in The Great American Burger Joint. The combination of the melted cheese and juicy beef gave me one mouthwatering EATSperience. Every bite was pure delight!

(1/4 lb angus patty, bacon, pepper jack cheese, grilled tomato, charred onion and bbq sauce)
[Mr. Eats] I am not a big fan of fancy sauces on burgers but I will make this one an exception. This one was easily my favorite out of this EATSperience. The bbq sauce complemented the beautifully cooked angus beef patty perfectly. Make sure you get a bite of all the components to maximize the EATSperience. Well done!
[Mrs. Eats] Tender angus beef patty smothered with a combination of sweet and tangy bbq sauce. However, the onions were too much for me. But nonetheless, this is a must-try burger!

(1/2 lb patty stuffed with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and TBJ sauce)

[Mr. Eats] This one was easily the biggest and baddest of them all. Half a pound of beef in one burger! Good thing it was for sharing because it had a lot going on aside from the HUGE beef patty made better by its molten cheese core. The bacon and the fresh veggies gave it lots of crunch and flavor. The sauce made it even cheesier. If you are into tasty diet-busting burgers, you have to EATSperience the Juicy Lucy. You will surely love it!
[Mrs. Eats] Another favorite of mine! Thick beef patty with molten cheese? Yes please! This definitely will satisfy your burger craving. If you want to try this, make sure to eat it while its hot, to EATSperience that oozing goodness from the melted cheese core.
We are finally done with our Great American Burger Joint EATSperience! We came in with lots of room in our tummies and left with almost no space at all. Control was forgotten once we saw all the beautifully cooked burgers and munchies. It suddenly became hard for us to control ourselves from eating too much because they all looked so appetizing. We loved our Great American Burger Joint EATSperience and when we get a chance to return to SM Aura or visit their outlet in Pasig, we will not hesitate to order our favorites to relive this wonderful EATSperience. That’s it for this edition of EATSplorations! Stay tuned for the last installment of our Great Eatscape EATSperience. Till next time!
