[NEW DISHES] Main Street Restaurant – Kapitolyo

New EATSperiences keep piling up for us this 2017. So far, we have been to different restaurants in our weekend food-ventures and most, if not all of them were in restaurants that we haven’t tried before. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you our EATSperience at Main Street Restaurant in Kapitolyo, Pasig City. Main Street claims to have “the best” Canadian comfort food in town. Since it’s just our first visit, we won’t be able to confirm the claim just yet. But, what can we do is to see whether this place can give us a great EATSperience or not through their NEW DISHES. Yes, they have 8 new dishes to replace some old items in the menu. We would have wanted to try out their old favorites to have a good taste of what they are really all about. Guess we will just have to visit Main Street again for that. Chocolate Decadence Cake by Joconde Cakes

We are huge fans of how Filipinos turn any cake and pastry into a work of culinary art. All around Manila alone, homemade cakes and pastries can be found for everyone to enjoy. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you one of our prized finds from Christmas of 2015, the Chocolate Decadence Cake by Joconde Cakes and Pastries. We still remember the time when we saw it from an Instagram post of a friend of ours. It was love at first sight! Just from the looks of it, we knew that it was something special. We got their number right away, ordered, and the rest was history. Although Joconde Cakes and Pastries is known for their Chocolate Decadence Cake, they are also known for their Moist Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting, and Salted Egg Yema Cake. It has been almost a month now since this EATSperience. We have been swamped with lots of work before our much awaited Christmas break.
