Milkshake 101 at Shakeaway – BGC

Weather here in the Philippines has been encouraging me to indulge, every once in a while, on cold and sweet treats. You know—halo-halo, fruit shakes, and milkshakes. The Philippines has become a home for sweet and cold treats because one, it is just extremely hot in here. Two, we, Filipinos, love sweet stuff. Agree? I know you do. There’s more to the name Nikko’s Baking Studio. And what did we mean by that? Nikko’s is not just a small baking studio. It also is a restaurant that serves comfort food from homemade recipes that have been passed on to generations and recipes that have been inspired by known favorites. Brown Butter Pancake Sandwiches

Finally, October is over and now it’s time to usher in November! We were loaded with work last month and as a result, we have had some backlog on the blogging side of things. Not complaining though because thank God, we have been busy since coming back home. Last month, we received a box of goodies from Brown Butter Pancake Sandwiches. If you haven’t heard about them yet, Brown Butter makes pancake sandwiches inspired by the “Dorayaki” from Japan. The concept is a fusion of East and West as they combined the Japanese pancakes with more Western fillings or palaman in Filipino.
