Finally, October is over and now it’s time to usher in November! We were loaded with work last month and as a result, we have had some backlog on the blogging side of things. Not complaining though because thank God, we have been busy since coming back home. Last month, we received a box of goodies from Brown Butter Pancake Sandwiches. If you haven’t heard about them yet, Brown Butter makes pancake sandwiches inspired by the “Dorayaki” from Japan. The concept is a fusion of East and West as they combined the Japanese pancakes with more Western fillings or palaman in Filipino. The pancake sandwiches of Brown Butter are also very handy and easy to eat. Keep reading to find out more about Brown Butter’s different pancake sandwiches in this edition of EATSplorations!
At first, we were really impressed on how the box and packaging looked. It looked as if it was imported from Japan. We were glad to be wrong though, because Brown Butter is made by a group of entrepreneurs from nowhere else but, Manila. Yes, Brown Butter Pancake Sandwiches is made in the Philippines. Are you impressed yet? Wait till you see the pancake sandwiches they have in store for you!
Here are the first three of SIX Pancake Sandwiches by Brown Butter!

[Mr. Eats] Among the first three Brown Butter Pancake Sandwiches, I loved the classic Maple and Butter the most because it was the most authentic. Next is the Double Chocolate because I LOVE chocolate and it was rich and extremely chocolaty without being overly sweet. Last is the Nutella. It was pretty good and it had a generous Nutella filling but I just loved the classic and super chocolaty Double Chocolate more.
[Mrs. Eats] I love pancakes! It has been one of my breakfast staples. And Brown Butter gave a different take on the usual pancake, which I can easily eat without having the need to pour some syrup on top. Among the three pancake sandwiches, my favorite was the Nutella. The pancake was soft and fluffy and the Nutella filling gave the sweetness that tickled my taste buds.
Here are the last three of SIX Brown Butter Pancake Sandwiches!

[Mr. Eats] The hands down favorite on this half was the Mocha and Dulce de Leche. I am a big fan of mocha cakes and this did not disappoint. The dulce de leche filling just made it even better. I didn’t mind the level of sweetness because it was a unique and really awesome combination of flavors. The Red Velvet was silky smooth. The filling though was a bit lighter than I expected. The Peanut Butter variant almost made me look for some grape jelly. Classic breakfast and snack flavors in one pancake sandwich.
[Mrs. Eats] Awesome flavors that can fill one’s hungry tummy. The red velvet had a filling that was on the lighter side that made me look for the usual cream cheese frosting. The Mocha and Dulce de Leche pancake had the right sweetness for me. As for the Peanut Butter pancake, it was more on the sweeter side for me. If you are up for some really filling pancake sandwich, try one of these three flavors.
We had a great time sampling on these ready to eat and on the go goodies by Brown Butter. It was fun taking photos of it too!
