Hello everyone! It has been a long time since the last time we shared an EATSperience in Quezon City. We have been guilty of just going around areas near our place like Makati and Bonifacio Global City. But since our baby’s pediatrician is based in Quezon City and we have to visit her for the monthly checkup, it gives us time to EATSperience restaurants that we rarely go to, and just simply appreciate what that side of Metro Manila has to offer. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you about our latest Quezon City food find, Bao On The Block. It is located in Sgt. Esguerra just across ABS-CBN. This place serves up baos and rice bowls perfect for lunch and after work chow downs. We decided to visit Bao On The Block on a weekday lunch (during our school break) and it was pretty easy to go to. The Great Eatscape: The Great American Burger Joint, SM Aura
Hello everyone! We are back for the second installment of our most recent Great Eatscape EATSperience with ForkSpoonManila and SM Aura Premier. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you about The Great American Burger Joint in SM Aura’s Food on Four. As you all know, we LOVE burgers! That’s why we were extremely excited when we found out that we will get the chance to try this out for the first time. Buttery brioche bun, fresh veggies, melted cheese, and juicy beef patty just to name a few good reasons why no matter how much good food we have tried, the simplest of burgers still excites us. The Great Eatscape – Cibo, SM Aura
We had a great time last week because we got some much needed rest and we got to spend more time with our baby. Also, there was another run of The Great Eatscape by ForkSpoonManila and SM Aura Premier. If you read our five-part series about this food-filled event, you know what to expect in this series. The day was indeed full of fun, food, laughter and friendship as we got to catch-up with friends and were able to meet new ones. Our first stop was at Cibo. An Italian restaurant by Asia’s Best Female Chef in 2016, Margarita Fores. Cibo has been a household name for Italian comfort food in the Metro over the years. Brown Butter Pancake Sandwiches
Finally, October is over and now it’s time to usher in November! We were loaded with work last month and as a result, we have had some backlog on the blogging side of things. Not complaining though because thank God, we have been busy since coming back home. Last month, we received a box of goodies from Brown Butter Pancake Sandwiches. If you haven’t heard about them yet, Brown Butter makes pancake sandwiches inspired by the “Dorayaki” from Japan. The concept is a fusion of East and West as they combined the Japanese pancakes with more Western fillings or palaman in Filipino.
