Just recently, we were blessed to have EATSperienced an all-you-can-eat buffet that has been made extra special by two amazing homegrown chefs, Chefs Sau del Rosario and Miko Aspiras. Two culinary powerhouses in a once in a lifetime feast for everyone to EATSperience. The buffet is called “Filipino Culinary Pride” at Corniche in Diamond Hotel Philippines. This food festival that runs until the 1st of July is a great reminder of how Filipino food and Filipino chefs can actually be world-class. Izakaya Kikufuji – Little Tokyo, Makati

One of the famous go to spots for authentic and awesome Japanese food in Metro Manila is at… Little Tokyo in Makati City! It has had this reputation for years already and people who go here seem like they are always satisfied. In our 3rd year back here in Manila, we have not explored much of this area still. And we have friends who have been recommending this food haven to Japanese food-lovers like us. One of the most sought after, jam-packed and busiest restaurant in Little Tokyo is Izakaya Kikufuji. We have heard good feedback from friends and we have seen mouthwatering Instagram posts as well. [Pampanga EATS] 25 Seeds by Chef Sau del Rosario

Earlier this month, I, Mr. Eats, went on a food trip to EATSplore some of the limited edition items for the Choice of the Nation. It was a day of pure eating as I was able to try out FOUR restaurants in one day. The food trip took me as far as Pampanga and it led me to 25 Seeds by Chef Sau del Rosario. 25 Seeds features farm to table creations inspired by many of his adventures in his 25 years of being in the food industry and of course, by his Kapampangan roots. I was really excited to try his food again because of my wonderful EATSperience at Cafe Fleur in 2016. [BGC EATS] Indonesian Food at Bakmi Nyonya – Eden Food Hall

Indonesia, its culture, and especially its food will always hold a special place in our hearts. If you remember EATS Jakarta, that was us. That was us almost 4 years ago. It’s been a little over two years now since we left Jakarta, and there are still days when we would miss having Indonesian food. Sate Ayam, Bakmi Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Beef Rendang, and so much more. And it is kind of hard to find something authentic here in Manila, as it is really not that common and accepted yet.
