American food has been really famous here in the Philippines, and Filipinos are so accustomed to it. There are a number of American restaurants that have and are making their name here in Manila. Applebee’s being one, has been around for quite sometime. And they have new dishes to cater to our local taste. What’s special is that they included local flavors and favorites such as Pork Liempo Adobo, BBQ Liempo and Chicken BBQ in their menu, to celebrate Philippine homegrown favorites. [NEW MENU] Canton Road – Shangri-La Fort Manila

Manila – To celebrate the restaurant’s first year anniversary, Canton Road launches new flavors and fare beginning July 12, 2017. A year after its opening, the restaurant introduces several signature dishes sure to entice the palate of its diners. The fare is representative of the various provinces in China: Canton, Fujian, Sichuan and Huaiyang. Ingredients like local yam, crispy chili flakes and bourbon whisky bring a unique twist and flavor to the dishes. “People always want something fresh and new to try. Hello everyone! I, Mr. Eats, just got back from a short but sweet trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia—for the first-ever AirAsia Santan Food Fest at AirAsia’s RedQ. Located just outside the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The event showcased the gastronomical delights of Santan hot meals from across AirAsia’s network, including the latest signature dish, Thai Green Curry with Rice.
