[NEW DISHES] Main Street Restaurant – Kapitolyo

New EATSperiences keep piling up for us this 2017. So far, we have been to different restaurants in our weekend food-ventures and most, if not all of them were in restaurants that we haven’t tried before. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you our EATSperience at Main Street Restaurant in Kapitolyo, Pasig City. Main Street claims to have “the best” Canadian comfort food in town. Since it’s just our first visit, we won’t be able to confirm the claim just yet. But, what can we do is to see whether this place can give us a great EATSperience or not through their NEW DISHES. Yes, they have 8 new dishes to replace some old items in the menu. We would have wanted to try out their old favorites to have a good taste of what they are really all about. Guess we will just have to visit Main Street again for that. Well, before you starve yourselves, here is our Main Street EATSperience, enjoy! Continue reading…

Joey Pepperoni Pizzeria – Pioneer, Mandaluyong

We are back once again to share one rare EATSperience. Thanks to a school event, we were able to get off work early on a weekday. We have EATSperienced this restaurant as individuals way back and for the first time as EATSplorations tandem. We were really excited for this EATSperience as we can just simply enjoy the food and of course, each other’s company. In this edition of EATSplorations, we visited the area of Pioneer in Mandaluyong City to EATSperience the new and improved… Joey Pepperoni Pizzeria! Joey Pepperoni or Joey Pep for its long time patrons has been around for more than a decade now. The restaurant has always been known for being a traditional pizza and pasta place for the whole family. As the years of serving good food go by, Joey Pepperoni felt the need to change in order to catch up to the ever evolving Manila food scene. Find out more about the changes that had happened in the interior and in the food, as we share with you all our Joey Pepperoni Pizzeria EATSperience! Continue reading…

So if you love burgers and beers, this place is perfect for you! We love burgers so much and are still in search for great-tasting burgers around Manila. Sunnies Cafe – SM Megamall

We are back with a new EATSperience! Another first for us in terms of restaurants to try this 2016. This EATSperience is all about Sunnies Cafe in SM Megamall. This is the second branch of Sunnies Cafe, the first one is located in Bonifacio High Street in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. We were really looking forward to trying out Sunnies Cafe. We have heard and read a lot about it and that made us really interested to find out first-hand what it really is all about. We know Sunnies as the brand that sells lots of different hip and trendy sunglasses. It was kind of surprising for us when they started Sunnies Cafe. At first, we were like why? Will their food be able to measure up to the kind of shades they produce? Or is it just going to be a photogenic cafe with so so food? We found out the answer but you got to keep reading to find out. We won’t keep you waiting because it already took us almost a month to finally be able to write about our EATSperience. So, here goes our Sunnies Cafe EATSperience! Continue reading…

The Great Eatscape – Cibo, SM Aura

We had a great time last week because we got some much needed rest and we got to spend more time with our baby. Also, there was another run of The Great Eatscape by ForkSpoonManila and SM Aura Premier. If you read our five-part series about this food-filled event, you know what to expect in this series. The day was indeed full of fun, food, laughter and friendship as we got to catch-up with friends and were able to meet new ones. Our first stop was at Cibo. An Italian restaurant by Asia’s Best Female Chef in 2016, Margarita Fores. Cibo has been a household name for Italian comfort food in the Metro over the years. It has provided a unique dining EATSperience for diners who adore pizza, pasta and many more Italian favorites. Sounds good so far? Continue reading…
