Nowadays, diners like us are always on the lookout for something new. We still have that oldies but goodies list in our minds when we simply want to have a good time over breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, new menu treats offer a different kind of excitement to our palates and most of the time, satisfy a craving that we didn’t even know we had. Speaking of new offerings, a couple of weeks ago, we were able to try The Great Aussie Eats at Outback Steakhouse. The new additions (limited time only) feature four dishes that include an appetizer, two entrees and one dessert, made to provide an Aussie EATSperience like no other. Yakumi – Saturday Brunch, Solaire Resort and Casino

Last Saturday, we were invited by our friends from Zomato Philippines to EATSperience Yakumi’s Japanese Saturday Brunch at Solaire Resort & Casino. We said yes right away because who says no to an all you can eat Japanese food EATSperience, right? We both love Japanese food and consider it as one of our go to cuisines when we are in need of happy food after a long day. Anyways, let’s talk more about Solaire’s Japanese restaurant. Yakumi prides itself for using the freshest ingredients possible to its diners. One of their chefs told us that they even fly in fresh fish and other produce (around 3 to 4 times a week) to keep the food that they serve at a high level. Yes, their Saturday Brunch might be a tad expensive but that’s what you pay for if you want to eat dishes with the best ingredients, right? Yakumi’s Saturday Brunch is priced at Php 2,688 (plus 10% service charge). Don’t let it discourage you from trying it though because after reading this EATSperience, you might find yourself booking a table for two really soon. Ruby Jack’s Steakhouse and Bar – City of Dreams

Last week, we had the chance to try out Ruby Jack’s Steakhouse and Bar in the famed hotel and casino complex in Paranaque City, City of Dreams. It was another after work event for us but this time, it was way closer to where we live. We made our way pretty fast with very little traffic jam along the way. Also, we arrived earlier than we expected so we had time taking photos of the place before dinner began. Ruby Jack’s is a classic, contemporary steakhouse and bar from Tokyo, Japan. Every week, we try our best to dine somewhere we have never tried before. A place that is something “new” for us try and to share with all of you. Last Saturday, after going around and doing some bargain shopping at Greenhills Shopping Center, we dined at House of Lasagna in V-Mall or Virra Mall for old folks like us. The place, of course, is best known for the wide variety of lasagna that they have. From the classic beef to the more unique seafood, they have it all. But, House of Lasagna is not just about meaty and cheesy lasagnas. The restaurant also prides itself of fried chicken. Wait a minute, delicious fried chicken in a restaurant that’s known for lasagna?
