Hello everyone! We just had a short break from work a few weeks back. It was a much needed holiday for us since September, for us teachers, is really crazy busy. And, it was really special because it’s our first official beach trip as a family. We really wanted this trip to be as chill and as relaxing as possible that’s why we decided to plan a 4-day and 3-night trip to Bohol. As a couple, we both love the beach and we consider Bohol to be one of our favorite islands in the Philippines. We never get tired of Bohol’s white sand beaches, lovely people, amazing sights, and many more. Our love for Bohol just keeps growing everytime we visit. Buns and Bowls at Don Bao – Kapitolyo, Pasig
Hello everyone! It’s been a hectic month of September for us, as teachers (yes, we are full-time teachers, too!) because of parent-teacher conferences and preparing for our lessons at the same time. Good thing September is about to end and we finally have enough time to squeeze in some blogging of our past EATSperiences over the month of September. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing ourĀ Buns and Bowls at Don Bao in Kapitolyo, PasigĀ EATSperience. Yes, it’s Don for Donburi and Bao for those Chinese fluffy steamed buns. Don Bao specializes in the fusion of Asian and Western flavors and putting them in either a rice bowl or a steamed or fried bun. We were pretty excited to try Don Bao out because we love Asian food and it’s really something that we eat regularly. We’ve always had a perception that Japanese food is a work of art. As we’ve seen Japanese chefs exhibit passion by delicately making different dishes, which makes it so interesting to eat and to learn about Japanese food. 2 Saturdays ago, we were in The Choice Awards event at SMX convention center. After having an eventful afternoon, our tummies started to grumble and good thing our friends were hungry too. So we decided to have dinner at a nearby restaurant.
