There’s been a lot of creativity recently when it comes to new restaurant concepts in and around Metro Manila. As a diner, this is nothing but exciting for me because there’s a lot to try and to choose from. The quality of food and service has also improved because restaurants are giving their 110% every single time. In this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing about my latest and most recent EATSperience in Pasig City. This EATSperience of mine was in a Japanese restaurant that’s best known for their ultra-colorful plates of sushi and really creative interpretations of classic Japanese dishes. Masarap Nga! Meet and Eat at Novotel Manila Araneta Center

Masarap Ba? Masarap Nga! Yup, I am talking about the one, the only, Philippine Instagram sensation, MASARAP BA! Masarap Ba together with Novotel Manila Araneta Center has come up with a great collaboration that showcases some of Masarap Ba’s top local food businesses in a once in a lifetime food festival called “Masarap Nga! Meet and Eat” at Novotel Manila Araneta Center.  Just in case you haven’t heard about Masarap Ba yet, he/she/it is the account that has over 200 thousand followers on Instagram and is adored because of her honest and witty reviews of various dishes and products in and out Metro Manila. Masarap Ba’s identity is still unknown but the account is so influential that a lot of products and dishes are so famous and loved because of he/she/it. Because of the accounts strong influence, the word “Ka-kulto” or cult followers has been coined for its followers. In this edition of EATSplorations, I will also be sharing my thoughts about my favorite dishes that were created by Novotel’s chefs using the  phenomenal food products made by small and medium entrepreneurs. [San Juan EATS] Kanto Freestyle 65 – Annapolis, Greenhills

Greenhills, San Juan! Yup, I am back here once again to EATSplore a place that has been really famous over the past couple of years when it comes to great Filipino breakfast done the classy way. Wait, what? Fancy Filipino breakfast? Yup, Classy Filipino breakfast and before I forget, they serve AFFORDABLE Classy Filipino breakfast ALL DAY! But how? [Shore Residences] One Pot Chinese Hotpot

I love love love HOTPOT! It’s one of my favorites after a long and tiring day. I just love the comfort it gives me in every single slurp of its hot hot broth. I love hotpot but I have never tried it the Szechuan way. Since the Szechuan-style of Chinese cooking is known for being spicy, I have always been afraid to try it because I am not really a spicy food type of guy. Thanks to one of my friends, I finally had the courage and hunger (haha) to try some spicy hotpot. That’s why in this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing with you about my very first EATSperience of Szechuan-style hotpot!
