Cusina ni Lola by Chef Tatung – Pan Pacific Manila

Eating out almost every weekend has opened our eyes and taste buds to different kinds of cuisines and techniques. It has been great so far but every once in a while we look for something familiar, an EATSperience that’s closer to home, Filipino food. We, Filipinos, love to eat and we love to eat with family. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you our EATSperience at a special themed buffet called “Cusina ni Lola” by Chef Tatung at Pan Pacific Manila. Cusina ni Lola or grandmother’s kitchen in English features culinary masterpieces by Chef Myke Tatung Sarthou himself. From April 17 to 21, 2017 and for only Php 1,000 nett per person, EATSperience Filipino cuisine like how grandmas used to make it. [NEW DISHES] Canton Road – Shangri-La at the Fort

This EATSperience of ours is another first for EATSplorations. Yes, it’s our first time to ever set foot in Shangri-La at the Fort and also our first EATSperience at their Chinese fine-dining restaurant, Canton Road. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you the new dishes that Canton Road will be launching for this month of April. Every 3-4 months, Canton Road takes a look at their menu to see which ones perform the best and which ones need to take a little break or have an improvement. There were a total of 16 dishes and 4 kinds of tea during this preview. As expected, we were stuffed to the brim after the day was over. Ever since we started dating, food was one among the many common interests that we have. We love trying out new dishes and we love having old favorites too. For the years that we have been together, there are certain types of food and restaurants that we love going back to. One of our guilty pleasures is all-you-can-eat restaurants. Yes, we love to eat and we really eat a whole lot. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you about our RBCTY (Rib City) EATSperience in Pioneer, Mandaluyong. More specifically, RBCTY’s all-you-can-eat surf and turf. For only 458 pesos per person, we got to EATSperience unlimited ribs, tempura, wings, and sides plus drinks. Taqueria – Madison Commons, Pasig

Since we became a family of three, we always consider our little one’s comfort when going places. Ever since the food park craze here in Manila began, we have only been to a food park twice. There was no problem about the food. Our main concern was how hot and crowded food parks can be. When dining at food parks come into mind, we always think that our baby may not be too comfortable, that’s why we rarely visit one. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you about our EATSperience at Taqueria in Madison Commons, Pasig. Taqueria made our latest food park EATSperience surprisingly different. En Tirage – Mandala Park, Mandaluyong

It’s rare for us to go out after work because of a few considerations. Depleted energy level, the traffic that we will be facing if we decide to go out and of course our foremost reason is, to go home right away and spend time with our baby. But there are instances when all considerations allow us to try out something new. It was on a Saturday when we had to work half day which meant there was still energy to go out, the traffic was not bad and the little one was with us. Perfect, isn’t?
