This EATSperience of ours is another first for EATSplorations. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you the new dishes that Canton Road will be launching for this month of April. Every 3-4 months, Canton Road takes a look at their menu to see which ones perform the best and which ones need to take a little break or have an improvement. There were a total of 16 dishes and 4 kinds of tea during this preview. As expected, we were stuffed to the brim after the day was over. Fat Fook Taiwanese Kitchen – SM North EDSA
Two weeks ago, it was a rare occasion for us to visit the northern part of Metro Manila. Considering where we live, any place that has Quezon City in its address seems like miles away because of the terrible Metro Manila traffic that we normally encounter. Anyways, we went to SM North EDSA to try out Fat Fook Taiwanese Kitchen. Fat Fook, as it is more commonly known, is a restaurant that features Taiwanese street food and traditional dishes. The place is known for their Chicken Chop, Fried Intestines, Spicy Pork Ears and many more. Sounds exciting so far? Get ready to EATSperience Taiwan through Fat Fook’s delectable Taiwanese dishes, enjoy! Continue reading…
Bao On The Block – Quezon City
Hello everyone! It has been a long time since the last time we shared an EATSperience in Quezon City. We have been guilty of just going around areas near our place like Makati and Bonifacio Global City. But since our baby’s pediatrician is based in Quezon City and we have to visit her for the monthly checkup, it gives us time to EATSperience restaurants that we rarely go to, and just simply appreciate what that side of Metro Manila has to offer. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you about our latest Quezon City food find, Bao On The Block. It is located in Sgt. Esguerra just across ABS-CBN. This place serves up baos and rice bowls perfect for lunch and after work chow downs. We decided to visit Bao On The Block on a weekday lunch (during our school break) and it was pretty easy to go to. The place is small but it was decorated nicely, for diners who are simply looking for a place to dine at after a long day’s work. Continue reading…
