Travelling to Hong Kong with our little girl was a first. Aside from bringing her to HK Disneyland, our other main reason to visit Hong Kong was for the EATS. We find ourselves blessed to have a daughter who loves to eat just like us two. And when we say loves to eat, she literally tries and eats whatever we try and eat! Our first day was devoted for the happiest place on earth, and it definitely made the little miss and us happy. On to the second day, we started to go around to hunt for good EATS. And our feet brought us to the Central area via the Harbour Ferry in the afternoon. We remember our parents telling us during our first day that the famous burger joint Shake Shack is located in the Central area. We honestly didn’t plan to visit because they said that the queue was crazy long. But since we found our way crossing that long bridge and entering the IFC mall where that famous burger from New York City is located, we just tried our luck. Join us in this edition of EATSplorations, as we share about our own EATSperience of one of the most sought after burger joints—Shake Shack – IFC Mall, Hong Kong! Continue reading…

A couple of weeks ago, I had the chance to visit Iloilo City for a day. Yes, I know it was a super short trip but I wasn’t really there to EATSplore. However, I had some free time before my engagement and it allowed me to check out one beautiful restaurant that serves up the best seafood from Iloilo, Capiz, and other neighboring islands in the Visayas. That’s right, when in places like Iloilo City, never ever miss out the chance to try out local seafood because it’s going to be as fresh as they can be! [Century City Mall] Best of Boracay at Hole in the Wall
Boracay is considered one of the many beautiful beaches here in the Philippines, by locals and foreigners alike. Peak season or not, Boracay is frequently visited by people looking for a beach that has perfect white sand and a lot of happenings. Recently, a shock came to many when the government decided to close the island down for six (6) months. And this closure has affected not just booked flights and hotels, but especially the locals. Employees and business people alike, a lot has suffered and are still suffering from the island’s rehabilitation. Thank God for the people behind Hole in the Wall, some of the island’s food outlets were given a chance to at least earn for a few months while waiting to be back on the island. Check out the Best of Boracay at Hole in the Wall, Century City Mall, in this edition of EATSplorations! Enjoy! Continue reading…

[Pampanga EATS] 25 Seeds by Chef Sau del Rosario
Earlier this month, I, Mr. Eats, went on a food trip to EATSplore some of the limited edition items for the Choice of the Nation. It was a day of pure eating as I was able to try out FOUR restaurants in one day. The food trip took me as far as Pampanga and it led me to 25 Seeds by Chef Sau del Rosario. 25 Seeds features farm to table creations inspired by many of his adventures in his 25 years of being in the food industry and of course, by his Kapampangan roots. I was really excited to try his food again because of my wonderful EATSperience at Cafe Fleur in 2016. In this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing my thoughts about his famous dishes and also about his mayo-inspired dishes. I sure hope you are hungry because here’s my gut-stuffing EATSperience at 25 Seeds by Chef Sau del Rosario, enjoy! Continue reading…
