Hello everyone! Here’s the last installment of our recent Great Eatscape EATSperience with ForkSpoonManila and SM Aura. This EATSperience is about Yabu, a restaurant that has become a household name for all sorts of great-tasting katsu and more. We had a great run for the first few restaurants but we were glad that we still had room for what Yabu had in stored for us. This is also our first time to write about Yabu. Surprising, right? We are really excited to share our thoughts about what we EATSperienced and we hope you are excited to read about it too. The Great Eatscape: Tamarind, SM Aura
Hello everyone! We are finally back to finish our five part series about SM Aura Premier and ForkSpoonManila’s The Great Eatscape. After 4 fantastic restaurants, we were really really FULL. We were nearing the point of no return when we were on our way to the last restaurant of the day. The last of five Sky Park restaurants that we visited that day was Tamarind: Taste of Thai. As the name says, this place serves Thai food which means lots of different flavors from different Southeast Asian herbs and spices. We momentarily forgot that we were already stuffed when we entered Tamarind. The aroma coming from the freshly cooked dishes in their super busy kitchen was enough to remind us that we can still do it. We can still hang on for the last restaurant of the day. Find out if we made the right decision or not as you keep on reading our Tamarind EATSperience. Continue reading…
Makirrito by Tokyo Tokyo
Life has been so fast paced nowadays that it’s a luxury for us to take our time and enjoy what we are eating. Since we started working and living again in Manila, we have always been on-the-go. In a hurry to have something to eat especially with all the work that we have to do. Also, having something like a quick meal doesn’t always guarantee full and happy tummies. Sometimes taste is also sacrificed because of the quality of fast food available. Good thing, just this week we discovered something fast, flavorful, filling and affordable! The Makirrito by Tokyo Tokyo. For those who haven’t tried it yet, it is the a combination of Maki (sushi rolls) flavors and components with the portability of a Burrito thus, Makirrito! Sounds interesting so far? Continue reading…
The Great Eatscape: Tuan Tuan Chinese Brasserie, SM Aura
We are going down the wire with our Great Eatscape EATSperience in SM Aura Premier with ForkSpoonManila. So far, we have tasted three very different restaurants and now it’s time to share our EATSperience at Tuan Tuan Chinese Brasserie also in SM Aura’s 5th floor, also known as the Sky Park. Yes, finally, Chinese food! We are huge fans of Chinese food because its dishes may not look well-plated or may not have finesse but it’s definitely full of flavor. When it comes to food, nothing is more important than flavor, right? In Tuan Tuan though, good food is combined with a classy restaurant interior that would take you to a few decades back. Tra Vinh – Banawe, Quezon City
Since coming back to Manila almost three months ago, one of our main goals has been to EAT and EXPLORE around our hometown and appreciate eateries around Manila and beyond. And we have been on track so far. Slowly but surely, we are getting our tummies busy and are ready to take it one bite at a time. This edition of EATSplorations took us to Banawe in Quezon City. For the longest time, Banawe has been known for its great number of big and small Chinese restaurants. But if you think we tried a Chinese restaurant, you are wrong. We skipped the Chinese cuisine and traded it for Vietnames cuisine. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you our Tra Vinh Authentic Vietnamese Noodles EATSpeience. Wait, what? Vietnamese food in Banawe? Yes, you read that right. If you want to find out more about our first ever Vietnamese EATSperience in Banawe, you got to Continue reading…
