As what the Hotdog band sang in their song Manila, “I keep coming back to Manila. Simply no place like Manila.” It’s just so difficult to say goodbye to Manila. It’s so hard to forget. All the good times during its heyday. No matter what I’ve already experienced, no matter where I’ve already been, there’s really no place like Manila. I just got to keep coming back to Manila. In this edition of EATSplorations, I will be featuring a restaurant that aims to bring back the old days with its classic Filipino dishes and an ambiance that would really take you back to the good old days! [BGC EATS] All Day Japanese at Motto Motto
Japanese food, again! Nope, we’re not complaining. We’re actually really happy to have another one in town because it just means that there’s a lot more to choose from. Over the years, we’ve grown to be huge fans of Japanese food. Sashimi, sushi, udon, ramen, teppanyaki, tempura, and many more. It’s one of the many cuisines that we’d really really love to have over and over again. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about one of the newest Japanese restaurants in BGC which is under the big hotel and restaurant umbrella of the Raintree Hospitality Group. Raintree is known for Providore, Chelsea Kitchen, Chotto Matte, Friends & Family, just to name a few. They even have Coast, Blue Marina, and Cha Cha’s in Boracay. Before we get all carried away with how awesome their group is, let’s go back to our subject for this EATSperience. Pablo Bistro at The Picasso Serviced Residences
If you have been following our blog, you might have already read about our EATStaycation EATSperience at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences. We loved so many things about Picasso and the Salcedo Village neighborhood where it belongs. One of the things that we loved is one of the restaurants that’s housed at the ground floor, Pablo Bistro. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about Pablo Bistro at The Picasso Serviced Residences. As you may have already read about our previous post, we had our complimentary breakfast at Pablo Bistro, thanks to The Picasso. Just in case you didn’t know yet, we also had dinner their late in the afternoon, during our stay at Picasso. So yes, we were able to try a bunch of their famous tapas and a couple of mains that we would want to tell you more about. Make sure to keep on reading to find out more about Pablo Bistro. Enjoy! Mala Szechuan Chinese Cuisine at Met Live Mall
There’s been a huge storm of Chinese restaurants here in Manila lately. I’m not just talking about our usual dim sum restaurants or Cantonese restaurants that serve the Chinese food that we already love. I’m talking about more different kinds of hotpot and more regional Chinese restaurants that’s more than the usual Sweet and Sour Pork or Yangchow Fried Rice, hehe. Well, this may be because there are a lot more Chinese nationals now here in Manila. It may also be because Filipinos are now more open to embracing other kinds of Chinese dishes. What do you think? Well, this may be good for foodies like us who would want to try out new things. It can also be good for the general food scene that we have here in Manila. Before I move further, this EATSperience of mine (Mr. Eats) will be about a restaurant at a fairly new mall in Pasay City that features really spicy Chinese food for Chinese nationals and locals who love spicy stuff. The restaurant that I will be sharing about is Mala Szechuan Chinese Cuisine at Met Live Mall in Pasay City! If you want to know more about it, please keep on reading especially if spicy food is your thing. Enjoy! Continue reading…
