Two weeks ago, it was a rare occasion for us to visit the northern part of Metro Manila. Considering where we live, any place that has Quezon City in its address seems like miles away because of the terrible Metro Manila traffic that we normally encounter. Anyways, we went to SM North EDSA to try out Fat Fook Taiwanese Kitchen. Fat Fook, as it is more commonly known, is a restaurant that features Taiwanese street food and traditional dishes. The place is known for their Chicken Chop, Fried Intestines, Spicy Pork Ears and many more. Sounds exciting so far? Get ready to EATSperience Taiwan through Fat Fook’s delectable Taiwanese dishes, enjoy! Continue reading…

Bao On The Block – Quezon City
Hello everyone! It has been a long time since the last time we shared an EATSperience in Quezon City. We have been guilty of just going around areas near our place like Makati and Bonifacio Global City. But since our baby’s pediatrician is based in Quezon City and we have to visit her for the monthly checkup, it gives us time to EATSperience restaurants that we rarely go to, and just simply appreciate what that side of Metro Manila has to offer. This place serves up baos and rice bowls perfect for lunch and after work chow downs. We decided to visit Bao On The Block on a weekday lunch (during our school break) and it was pretty easy to go to. The place is small but it was decorated nicely, for diners who are simply looking for a place to dine at after a long day’s work. Continue reading…
The Great Eatscape: Tuan Tuan Chinese Brasserie, SM Aura
We are going down the wire with our Great Eatscape EATSperience in SM Aura Premier with ForkSpoonManila. So far, we have tasted three very different restaurants and now it’s time to share our EATSperience at Tuan Tuan Chinese Brasserie also in SM Aura’s 5th floor, also known as the Sky Park. Yes, finally, Chinese food! We are huge fans of Chinese food because its dishes may not look well-plated or may not have finesse but it’s definitely full of flavor. When it comes to food, nothing is more important than flavor, right? In Tuan Tuan though, good food is combined with a classy restaurant interior that would take you to a few decades back.
