In this edition of EATSplorations, I, Mr. Eats, will be sharing one of the many concepts from before that made its way back to the dining scene. Burgers by the LRT? The boy sitting on top of a barrel while holding a burger above his head? Buy one take one burgers? Sounds familiar? If you are in your late 20’s or older, you probably still remember that iconic LRT burger stall, Scott Burger! Indonesia, its culture, and especially its food will always hold a special place in our hearts. If you remember EATS Jakarta, that was us. That was us almost 4 years ago. It’s been a little over two years now since we left Jakarta, and there are still days when we would miss having Indonesian food. Sate Ayam, Bakmi Goreng, Nasi Goreng, Beef Rendang, and so much more. And it is kind of hard to find something authentic here in Manila, as it is really not that common and accepted yet. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about an Indonesian food stall that we have come to love, as it kind of made us miss Indonesia less because of its legit Indonesian food. Join us as we EATSperience and share with you more about Indonesian Food at Bakmi Nyonya in Eden Food Hall. Enjoy! Continue reading…
[BGC EATS] Friends & Family – Bonifacio High Street Central
Recently, I, Mr. Eats, was able to try out one of Bonifacio Global City’s newest restaurants, Friends & Family. Some of you might have already tried it out, but well yes, it was my first time. There are still days when I would crave for those because those dishes bring a lot of great memories from several years back. That is why, in this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing about my very memorable EATSperience at Friends & Family in Bonifacio High Street Central. Take a trip down food memory lane with me, let’s go! Continue reading…
