Located at the Lobby level of Holiday Inn & Suites, Flavors Restaurant gives diners a casual-dining experience. Wherein families and friends can have a gathering and enjoy quality time over a variety of flavorful dishes.
Salad Bar
Freshness guaranteed! The American salads were done beautifully. Our favorites were the creamy Classic Potato Salad and the cheesy Midwestern Cold Salad.
American Station
What’s American food without these staples. The Southern style deep fried chicken was flavored and cooked perfectly, and it was not greasy which made it enjoyable to eat. Among all the American dishes in the spread, our favorite was the marinated pork chop with caramelized onion and apple sauce. Imagine your tender pork chop drenched in a sweet, tart, thick and warm apple sauce. This dish made us come back for more!
Kids Station
Crispy pieces of chicken fingers and meaty pizza slices will surely win the hearts of kids, just like how it got our daughter’s attention. She enjoyed munching on the tender pieces of chicken fingers and she savored the sweet and tangy pizza packed with ground meat, sausages and cheese. This station will surely get the attention of the kids at heart too!
Make-your-own Burger Bar
A burger-lover’s dream! Yes, that’s what this station is all about, making burger dreams come true. Flavors Restaurant did not disappoint, the burgers were awesome! The patties were thick, juicy, and well-seasoned. The choice of buns, toppings, sides, and sauces were pretty exciting, too. TIP: Request for fried egg to complete your Burger Bar EATSperience
Carving and Grilling Station
Get your money’s worth and go after this station right away! It’s all about the carving station when it comes to buffets because it’s where the tasty and expensive cuts of meat are. The Baby Back Ribs were perfect! Really juicy meat and lovely sweet bbq sauce. The ribeye, on the other hand, was a bit over on the outside but was perfectly medium rare on the inside. TIP: Wait for everyone to get the outside slices so you can get your medium rare steak
It’s all about the Pork Bbq in this station! It tastes really similar to the Filipino bbq sticks on the street which makes it really good. The pork was super flavorful and tender. Don’t forget to get yourself some spicy soy and vinegar sauce!
Dessert Station
Of course we saved room for dessert. Even if we were stuffed with these mouthwatering dishes, we still had space for dessert. A variety for sweet treats that can cater to different preferences. One of our favorites was the American cheesecake. The sweetness was not overwhelming and the texture was perfectly creamy and smooth. And for a fruity variant, we enjoyed InterContinental Hotel’s samurai crepe. Fresh mangoes enveloped inside the silky smooth crepe, drenched in a cream sauce.
This American feast, together with their usual local and international stations at Flavors Restaurant is headed by their very own Filipino Executive Chef, Chef Elmer. Chef Elmer’s delectable and well-executed dishes is really impressive, and the consistency of the quality makes this EATSperience worth-sharing.
