Kapitolyo! Finally, after quite some time, we went back to Kapitolyo to do some EATSploring. Kapitolyo has always been close to our tummies, thanks to its seemingly endless number of homegrown food concepts. Over the years, we’ve had our share of EATSperiences there even way before we were together. What makes Kapitolyo so special? Hmmm… Well, we believe it’s the small businesses. The dreamers who took the risk in coming up with their own eatery, food stall, or restaurant. The neighborhood that is so homey. And of course, the food. Kapitolyo won’t be the foodie destination that it is today, if not for all the wonderful food that they’ve been offering diners from all over, all these years. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will share with you about a restaurant concept that hits the spot. This restaurant is Pomodoro Pizza Pasta Kitchen in Kapitolyo, Pasig City. So happy that the world-famous burger store is finally here in Manila, more specifically in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig. I, Mr. Eats, recently attended an exclusive media preview of Shake Shack Philippines just a few days before its grand opening to the public on May 10, 2019. Burgers and Flatbreads at Pound x Flatterie – Greenbelt 3
It’s been a long time since I saw a new and interesting restaurant in Greenbelt 3. I always go there with Bianca and Beanie and we always seem to eat in our favorite restaurants there. We usually go for Japanese, American, and Filipino restaurants. The classics in Greenbelt 3. However, just recently, I was able to try something new! Yup, Greenbelt 3 has a new and interesting restaurant! It’s been a long time, hehe. In this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing with you about Burgers and Flatbreads at Pound x Flatterie in Greenbelt 3. Yes, you read that right. Burgers and Flatbreads in one amazing collab from two different restaurants of Foodee Global Concepts. Foodee Global Concepts is the group that brought famous restaurant brands in Manila, like Tim Ho Wan, Hawker Chan, and Tsuta, just to name a few. EATStaycation at The Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences
It has been an EATStaycation filled last few weeks for us. We’ve been staying at different hotels and serviced residences, and of course, we’re loving it! It’s always great to have a relaxing weekend elsewhere and just chill and eat all day. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing our most recent EATStaycation at one of the well-known serviced residences in the Salcedo Village neighborhood, in Makati City. We love love love the Salcedo Village neighborhood because everything is just walking distance and it’s also such a safe area to walk around in. It also has a great Saturday community market and a super child-friendly park. Everything the EATSplorations Family needs. EAT and EXPLORE Taal Vista Hotel
Tagaytay being a popular destination for road trips has been a part of us since our childhood days. We have been there several times but as individuals, and it was just very recent when we visited this place together as a family. What’s more exciting this time is, we have our little one to make new memories with. We usually spend just a day whenever we go to Tagaytay, and in our recent visit, we were able to spend an overnight stay and got to enjoy the cold weather much more.
