[BGC EATS] BAD Late Night Breakfast Bar – Uptown Bonifacio

There’s something with breakfast food that always satisfies our hunger. And having breakfast food anytime of the day is something we find comforting. More so, having breakfast staples for dinner is something really interesting. Recently, we found ourselves trying out a new restaurant in Bonifacio Global City. Behind the famous club The Palace Pool Club, is a restaurant that serves breakfast food at night. Interesting huh? After partying, there is a place where hangovers and hunger can be nursed. In this edition of EATSplorations we will be sharing something B-A-D! Oh, allow us to rephrase that—a good kind of bad! Welcome to BAD Late Night Breakfast Bar!

Being our Tito and Tita self as how millenials use those terms nowadays, we both are not familiar with the Palace Pool Club complex. We just know that there are a lot of restaurants around it. As we made our way to look for BAD, we did not expect that it was located at the back of the complex. And when we saw the bright-lighted sign, we knew where to find breakfast food at night. First thing that came to mind since it is part of a club, is that it will be dark and have that ‘clubbin’ feel. To our surprise, upon entering, a wooden floored restaurant with comfy couch and seats was what welcomed us. Perfect for casual dining and drinking at night. 

Time to try some of BAD’s EATS!

BAD stands for Breakfast All Day. They serve breakfast staples and favorites from 6pm-3am. The concept of this restaurant is to serve diners who are looking for good food before going in the club and after partying in the wee hours of the morning. Who would not want something mouthwatering during these times, right?

This was love at first bite! The fried tortilla were thick and crunchy and it tasted more like a fried puff pastry. And the dip had all beef chili, American cheese, mozzarella, cheddar, sour cream and salsa. Every dip and bite was pure bliss! 

A breakfast staple worth the calorie intake! Thick and moist waffle topped with thick cuts of bacon, egg and finished off with their sweet and lip-smacking bourbon syrup. Need we say more?

Tapa has always been a breakfast favorite of ours. And BAD’s Tapa Steak made us fall in love with this staple even more! Generous amount of USDA flat iron steak with fried egg, salted egg salsa topped on a bed of hot garlic rice. If this is the kind of breakfast that we will be having, we would love to have this at any given time of the day!

It was indeed a good kind of bad EATSperience for us at BAD Late Night Breakfast Bar. We really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. BAD is a good place to unwind, to drink and dine after work, before and after partying or simply just have dinner with friends and family.
