Long weekends are usually spent for staying home to rest, flying out of the country, or going on road trips. The long weekend last February, we did the latter. Since it was just a day trip, we decided to head over to the closest destination for a food getaway—Tagaytay! We invited other members of our family to spend a day from the long weekend, with us. IT IS SO HOT RIGHT NOW! Summer really has arrived here in Manila and it is extremely hot. Good thing though, just over the weekend, we were able to visit the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio City! To those of you who don’t know much about Baguio, it is where we, Filipinos, get to enjoy a little bit of a break from all the heat and humidity that’s literally all over our beloved country. Thanks to some places like Baguio, we get to have air-conditioned weather all day long and now that is only around 4-5 hours away from Manila, cold-deprived people can easily visit and enjoy its lovely climate.
