Offered for the very first time, Tokyo Tokyo’s Beef and Tomato Ramen offers a familiar taste. Thanks to the unique yet familiar combination of the sweet and savory beef together with the tangy tomato.
The Beef and Tomato Ramen is priced at Php 160 ala carte for Snack Size and Php 210 ala carte for Regular Size. It is also available with meal upgrades with a side of Gyoza, Fried Gyoza, or Chicken Karaage with a drink.
Upgrade with Gyoza/Karaage (3pcs) and a drink starts at Php 70 (12oz drink), Php 90 (16oz drink), Php 100 (20oz drink), and Php 115 (32oz drink). Premium Upgrade with Fried Gyoza (3pcs) and drink starts at Php 80 (12oz drink), Php 100 (16oz drink), Php 110 (20oz drink), and Php 125 (32oz drink). The Beef and Tomato Ramen looks good but does it taste good? We believe it’s the most Filipino-friendly ramen creation that Tokyo Tokyo has created. As Filipinos, we love anything with tomato sauce, and it reminded us of Pinoy dishes with tomato-based sauces. Did it work? For us, it did! Sweet, tangy, savory, and a little spicy because of the Japanese chili powder. It kind of reminded us of rainy nights where we had sweet and tangy tomato-based soups. A little strange at first but it really works. Tasty, filling, and really comforting as what ramen should really be. Don’t expect it to taste like authentic ramen. Again, Tokyo Tokyo made this innovation to remind us, Filipinos, of dishes that are not just delicious but also very comforting especially during the rainy season.
