[Quezon City EATS] Classified Kitchen and Wine Cafe

Based from our EATSperiences last year, Quezon City still is one of the top places to visit when you want to have a good EATSperience. Quezon City is still home to a number of ‘oldies but goodies’ restaurants, and it’s also home to new restaurants that are easily becoming crowd favorites. Well, good news for all of you folks who live there, the food never stops. It still has so much more to offer. In this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing about a restaurant that’s located somewhere along Scout Tuason in Quezon City. A restaurant that looks super homey inside and out, and serves up all sorts of local and international comfort food. The restaurant that I will be sharing with you today is Classified Kitchen and Wine Cafe. Keep on reading to find out more about this latest food find in the Northern side of town!

Classified Kitchen and Wine Cafe in Quezon City!

That’s the sign! Classified Kitchen and Wine Cafe is located right at the corner of Scout Tuason and Scout Lozano in Quezon City.

Classified Kitchen and Wine Cafe is very spacious and homey inside. I loved that the whole restaurant is pretty well-lit and there’s a lot of wooden fixtures and furniture. As a guy who loves natural light when taking photos, the place made it so easy for me to shoot good photos of their food.

If you want a spot that’s a little bit more quiet and intimate, there’s this space! There’s like a little couch area for you and your companions to enjoy a good catch-up over a good meal.

Classified Kitchen and Wine Cafe is owned by siblings who are very much into food. After gaining lots of experience elsewhere, the siblings decided to put up a restaurant that they can both partner up on. They made sure that each one’s personal favorites and their family’s recipes will be featured on the restaurant’s menu.

The feast that I shared with friends from the Manila foodie community! Soup, steak, lamb, pasta, hotdog, chicken, and churros were eaten by me, @foodgrammer.ph@myronepo, and @carinacastleIt may seem too much for a party of four but believe it or not, we finished it all.

Classic-fied Buffalo Wings (Php 225)

At first, I didn’t expect much from these chicken wings but I was proven wrong by Classified! It’s not your ordinary chicken wings and it’s far from the usual Buffalo Wings but it was extremely and surprisingly good. I loved it! Crispy and tender chicken wings with just the right balance of sweet, spicy, and salty. Must-try!

Seafood Chowder (Php 190)

Classified Kitchen and Wine Cafe also has a really tasty soup in their Seafood Chowder. I loved how creamy and light it was. They were also very generous with the seafood which made it more flavorful and delicious than most chowders that I have tried in town.

Australian T-Bone Steak (Php 295)

It’s not the thickest steak I’ve had but it was pretty tasty in its own right. I love how tender and properly grilled the steak was. It was also big enough for sharing and I love that it’s just priced at 295 pesos. Great value for a piece of steak!

Chicken Lokal (Php 245)

Chicken Lokal is like Classified’s very own version of an Inasal. This one’s a boneless chicken quarter that’s grilled to perfection with rice and veggies on the side. At only 245 pesos, this dish definitely is filling and budget-friendly. Perfect someone who is hungry for lunch or after work!

Stone Grilled Lamb Chops (Php 395)

These lamb chops were really really good! It was super tender and it tasted super clean. The mint jelly goes perfectly with it, too. I almost ordered another serving of this dish just for myself because it was too damn good. One of the best lamb chops in town, in my honest opinion.

Truffled 4 Cheese Ravioli (Php 380)

Fresh ravioli pasta stuffed with cheesy goodness and topped with truffle cream sauce. This was devoured in no time! Why? Simply because of these words… TRUFFLE and FOUR CHEESE! Enough said.

Hungarian Devil’s Dog (Php 195)

Hungarian sausage topped with their very own chili and cheese. Classified’s very own spin on a chili dog. I enjoyed this one a lot because the chili was just right and the bread was delicious on its own. Every component of the sandwich was well thought of. That’s why every bite was such a delight!

Churros Ice Cream (Php 125)

To finish things off in my food-filled Classified EATSperience, Churros and Ice Cream for dessert! I loved the combination of warm and cold on this one. Crispy churros and vanilla ice cream with chocolate drizzle is always a good idea after a barrage of savory dishes. Thank you, Classified!

Eating definitely never ends in this side of town. Quezon City is and will always be home to great restaurant finds such as Classified Kitchen and Wine Cafe. I was really glad to have finally tried some of the dishes that they offer. The trip from my place up to Quezon City was definitely worth it because I had a great time. Will I return to Classified on my own? YES, but with my tiny family so that they too, can EATSperience what I just EATSperienced in Classified. If ever you live or work around this area, make sure to drop by and try out some of the dishes that I tried. I guarantee that you will love it, too! That’s it for this edition of EATSplorations! ‘Till next time!
