Hello everyone! We are sorry as each of our posts come out far apart. We have been very busy for the past few weeks. As like what we have shared, we are really teachers by profession and blogging just became our second love. Anyways, last month we EATSperienced something new from our old time favorite, Fowlbread. Yes, they have some new offerings! Now, people can enjoy some breakfast favorites at Fowlbread. We repeat, now people can have Breakfast at Fowlbread. We love breakfast food! Well, who doesn’t? Those perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs, crisp toast, large amounts of butter, and that savory meat to cap things off. Imagine going over to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) for a morning run and having a tasty breakfast right after, or before heading off to work and having leisurely breakfast to jumpstart your day. Now, with Fowlbread’s breakfast offerings, everyone can enjoy a good meal as their day begins. Are you ready to EATSperience Fowlbread’s breakfast offerings? Here it goes, enjoy!
Say hello to the new signage of Fowlbread! Much easier to spot, right?
Now open daily from 8am until midnight! More fried chicken sandwiches for everyone! 😀
The old signage is here! We were looking for it at first and we were relieved when we saw it on display just when we entered the vintage dining area of Fowlbread. Anyways, we really had to wake up early on a Sunday to try out their breakfast menu which runs daily from 8am to 11am. We were really hoping that it was worth every minute of sleep. Keep going to find out if our early morning hunger was satisfied or not.
Fowlbread’s breakfast menu features three familiar Western breakfast staples. You may choose from the following: Corned Beef, Sausage, or Bratwurst together with two eggs (cooked according to how you want it), crispy potatoes and toast).
[Mr. Eats] Not really a big fan of corned beef but this one’s pretty good. Really meaty, stringy and extremely beefy. I almost asked for a cup of garlic rice to fully enjoy it!
[Mrs. Eats] I am a fan of corned beef especially when it is fresh from the pan. This platter had potatoes to go with the corned beef, which I really enjoyed. Plus butter, toast and sunny side up eggs! My tummy was happy!
[Mr. Eats] A platter of smokey and snappy Bratwursts! Just the way I like it. I wish it had at least 3 sausages though to have that filling breakfast EATSperience.
[Mrs. Eats] My husband and I like our sausages giving us a snappy texture. Glad that Fowlbread’s Bratwurst lived to our expectations. A snap of awesomeness in every bite!
[Mr. Eats] This platter was the most impressive for me. I enjoyed this the most because of its Asian twist with their use of the 5-spice seasoning. I loved the aroma and strong flavors that came out in every bite. Well done, Fowlbread!
[Mrs. Eats] I was expecting a familiar sausage patty taste when I saw this platter. But to my surprise, I was wrong. This sausage patty is not your usual one. It had a very asian/oriental flavor which I really liked. This can also be good with rice!
Just when we were about to end, we saw an item in the menu that looked familiar. What was it? It’s the famed DanDan Rice of one of the best pop-ups in Hole in the Wall history—Fire in the Hole. We were so excited when we asked our server if this was the one they served during their pop-up, and yes, without any hesitation he confirmed that it certainly was the one. Without thinking of our stuffed tummies, we ordered it for “dessert” simply because we missed it so much!
[Mr. Eats] After almost a year, I finally had the DanDan Rice once again! Of course, it tasted really good but not as spicy as I remember it. I think the spice level was adjusted and upon request, you may ask your server to put something extra for a higher spice level. Make sure you do what we did, order it together with some Shrimp Potstickers to complete the EATSperience.
[Mrs. Eats] Yes! We had it again! And we are more than glad knowing that we can already have it anytime we crave for it. Packed with flavor and spices that gave me a mouthwatering EATSperience. Not to mention, the string beans on the side were really good too! And it is a good side dish for the rice and the pot stickers. I would definitely have this again anytime soon!
Once again, we left Fowlbread with smiles on our faces! Thanks to their NEW Breakfast Menu! It may not be as cheap as our usual breakfast meals, but it surely did a great job of stuffing us even before we finished what we ordered. Make sure you try Fowlbread’s new breakfast menu with a group so that you may end up trying it all. That’s it for this edition of EATSplorations! Watch out as we write about a restaurant that has become a household name when it comes to great steaks. Till next time!
