Mala Szechuan Chinese Cuisine at Met Live Mall

There’s been a huge storm of Chinese restaurants here in Manila lately. I’m not just talking about our usual dim sum restaurants or Cantonese restaurants that serve the Chinese food that we already love. I’m talking about more different kinds of hotpot and more regional Chinese restaurants that’s more than the usual Sweet and Sour Pork or Yangchow Fried Rice, hehe. Well, this may be because there are a lot more Chinese nationals now here in Manila. It may also be because Filipinos are now more open to embracing other kinds of Chinese dishes. What do you think? Well, this may be good for foodies like us who would want to try out new things. It can also be good for the general food scene that we have here in Manila. Before I move further, this EATSperience of mine (Mr. Eats) will be about a restaurant at a fairly new mall in Pasay City that features really spicy Chinese food for Chinese nationals and locals who love spicy stuff. The restaurant that I will be sharing about is Mala Szechuan Chinese Cuisine at Met Live Mall in Pasay City! If you want to know more about it, please keep on reading especially if spicy food is your thing. Enjoy! Continue reading…

EAT and EXPLORE Taal Vista Hotel

Tagaytay being a popular destination for road trips has been a part of us since our childhood days. We have been there several times but as individuals, and it was just very recent when we visited this place together as a family. What’s more exciting this time is, we have our little one to make new memories with. We usually spend just a day whenever we go to Tagaytay, and in our recent visit, we were able to spend an overnight stay and got to enjoy the cold weather much more. In this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing about another EATStaycation EATSperience outside Metro Manila. Wanna find out more about? Keep reading about our EAT and EXPLORE – Taal Vista Hotel EATSperience! Enjoy! Continue reading…

[Pasig EATS] Neo Japanese Cuisine at Soru Izakaya

There’s been a lot of creativity recently when it comes to new restaurant concepts in and around Metro Manila. As a diner, this is nothing but exciting for me because there’s a lot to try and to choose from. The quality of food and service has also improved because restaurants are giving their 110% every single time. In this edition of EATSplorations, I will be sharing about my latest and most recent EATSperience in Pasig City. This EATSperience of mine was in a Japanese restaurant that’s best known for their ultra-colorful plates of sushi and really creative interpretations of classic Japanese dishes. Some may like their Japanese food the old school way and may not really be into restaurants like this one. As for me, I like trying new things and that’s why in this EATSperience, I will be sharing about the Neo Japanese Cuisine at Soru Izakaya in Pasig City’s Ortigas Technopoint! Continue reading…
