Christmas is around the corner and it’s time for parties, potlucks, reunions, and the like. All of the events that we will be attending will always have one thing in common, FOOD. Yes, whenever we think about meeting up with friends and spending time with family, food is always one of the stars of the event. And as we look for options on what to bring for a potluck, or where to eat during reunions, we always discover something new. One of the easiest choices to bring for a potluck party or to feast on during a gathering is— Pizza! You’re luck because in this edition of EATSplorations, we will be sharing with you Amici’s newest Pizzas from their very own, Chef Paolo Moran. Ready to meet the newest Pizzas of Amici Philippines?
A taste of Italy by Chef Paolo has 4 different flavors perfect to satisfy one’s craving. But before we dig into that, we have some insider information that Chef Paolo did some changes on their usual pizza crust to make it even better. His goal was to have a pizza crust that would still be soft and easy to eat even if the pizza gets cold. You know, when your family and friends get stuck and run late and the pizza is not as good as it was. Now, everyone gets to enjoy Amici’s great-tasting pizzas without sacrifing its quality.
Classico

Php 445
A pizza with the usual favorites! Classic pizza topped with Italian sausage, ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, black olives, anchovies, mozarella and parmesan. The crunch from the bell peppers and the sour flavor from the olives gave that refreshing taste in every bite.
The All Meaty One

Php 475
Yup, for meat-lovers like us, this was a sure hit! This is Chef Paolo’s version of an overload spicy all-meat pizza. Spicy Italian sausage, bacon, pepperoni, ham, mozarella and parmesan. To all big meat eaters out there, Amici’s Carne Fuego is for you!
Smoky and Meaty

Php 455
Smoky and meaty Smoked BBQ Pork pizza. Pulled pork in Hickory BBQ sauce, topped with fresh onions and served with chopped lettuce tossed in Caesar dressing. Creamy texture from the cheese and pulled pork in hickory bbq sauce. Flavor-wise, it was more on the sweeter side. We loved that the chopped lettuce gave a good balance.
Sweet and Spicy

Php 438
This was our favorite among the 4 pizzas. Shredded chicken in honeybutter and sriracha, finished and topped with blue cheese sauce. This Honey Sriracha Chicken has a good balance of sweet and spicy flavors. We liked that one flavor didn’t overpower the other. And the creaminess and distinct flavor from the blue cheese was a good complement.
Cake by Cara Mia

Php 110 per slice
Checking out their cake displays and gelato freezer always makes us drool! And finishing our pizza feast with a Coffee Honey comb cake from Cara Mia was a delight. Moist and very chocolaty cake with honeycomb surprises in between bites. With just the right amount of sweetness, their cakes will be one of our favorites. With the new pizza creations and their delectable desserts, Amici is a one-stop restaurant that can cater to families and friends who just wants to be in one place feasting and enjoying each others company. That’s it for this edition of EATSplorations, ’till next time!
